Phone Holder
I got the Ciro phone holder with the USB port, it comes with a nice long wire that was easy to run under to the battery. I went on a 3000 mile trip with it holding my phone showing me the Navigation app the whole way, it held very well the entire trip. This holder is well made, very adjustable and holds the phone tight. |

I got Ciro pearch mounts for both sides of my Goldwing, one for the phone holder and one for the drink holder, a quality product that's well made, solid and work great. |

not for goldwing
I just bought this new Ciro phone holder and I will admit that it's a nicely made holder HOWEVER the mounting screws DO NOT FIT Goldwing, I have an '06 Goldwing and a '16 Goldwing F6B, the screw threads fit neither one. I hope to get a refund and get one that is for a Goldwing. |

Look great, but...
They are not a good fit at all! I battled for and hour to get the right side on as the holes didn't line up at all. Had to force the screw in crooked and of coarse split the plastic holes. Finally employed some gorilla glue, they look great! COME ON SHOWCHROME! you can do better. |

my favorite backrest
I had a Utopia backrest on my '06 goldwing, I totaled the bike last year, made it out alive then bought a slightly used '08 GW. The bike came with a kuryakyn backrest w/storage pouch that lists for about $75.00 more than the utopia. I seriously miss my utopia backrest and now have one on order for my '08. The utopia backrest flexes back slightly where as the kury is fixed and does not allow for any movement, it's like having your back against a wall, the only way to go is forward. The utopia is supported with a stiff and very strong but slightly flexable steel bar allowing flexability just enough so I can adjust myself for comfort while riding. One note on installing the utopia backrest, you must remove the seat from the bike then cut a slit into the top of it and through the padding in order to install the steel bar, generally it installs easily and I am no mechanic. I'll sell the kuryakyn backrest on ebay! |
