Replaced an older aluminum belly pan with this stainless steel and was very impressed with the sturdiness of the SS. The old aluminum pan had a large hole in it from a large rock kicked up by the front wheel. Would recommend SS over the aluminum. If you don't file the edges, wear gloves when installing and be sure to take off ALL the protective covering on both sides. As mentioned earlier, these belly pans have slots (holes) rather than notches, so the installation bots must be removed to bolt them on. Removal and installation took less than 30 minutes. No problems with rattling, as earlier posters have noted. Some say a belly pan helps with stabalization of the bike with cross winds on the highway. I can't address that issue, as I've always ridden with the pan installed. |
| These look so good on my Red 2012 Wing! There should be no questions about getting these. It will transform your bike the moment you install them. Becareful when installing them when you push them in make sure hand pushes in on grommet only! Anyplace else and you can and will crack the 3 studs that you attach it to the stock red piece. It happen to me. But some crazy glue fixed the problem! |
| These make the ride very comfortable. I'm 5'6" and now the bars fit me like a glove! No more shoulder or elbow pain after long rides. Simple installation (about an hour start to riding!) |
| This is a great looking addition to my trike. It fits in so well that it looks like the wing came with it. The install was easy, but I couldn't wire it according to the instructions because of the trike conversion. I had to hard wire in into one of the tail lights. I didn't believe that the running lights and brake lights would run on just two wires, but tech support assured me that they would both work which they did. This is the third product that I have purchased for my trike from Kuryakyn and the third one that has either been defective in some way or missing parts or both. This one was missing the wiring parts package. As usual tech supoport was quick to remedy the problem. I really don't think much of Kuryakin. The light kit deserves 5 stars and Kuryakin deserves none so I gave it 3 stars |
| I have noticed changes in my cages when switching to a quality synthetic in the past but nothing like this. No more "clunk" when shifting. No more hanging up between gears or slipping out of gear etc. My mileage and my power went up. Put this secret sauce in your crank case NOW!!! |
| Excellent solution to the alternator hum experienced w/ AUX input connection to my iPod. Music is now noise free thru my helmet speakers. Simple install- insert in series (plug n play) w/ AUX connections by removing the left pocket. |

Twas a rainy day today so I took the opportunity to install this backrest on the Hot Rod. The video saved soooo much time knocking out the critical parts of the install process...The written instructions are clear enough, just nice to see it done before you dig in yourself. At first I thought I would need the back adjusted all the way up for my 6' frame, but after experimenting with it some, I found that the all the way down position fits the small of my back best. That's good too because it made it a little easier to mount and dismount the bike...I know I know, it folds down. In between rain showers, I ran out for an ice cream. Should have gotten this backrest sooner...I love it. |
| Put the standard handlebar risers on at the begining of the riding season and have ridden about 1800 miles with them now and no more neck/shoulder pain. The instructions are very poor and actually found the ones on their website have a bit more information than the ones that come with the product. It would be nice if Honda gave just a bit more slack in the cables but when moved and secured as instructed I can still move from full left to full right positions. |
| I like them but they impede ability to remove the cover to fill the coolant, alternator, etc. I have to remove the shifter. bummer |
