Bridgestone Tire COMBO for GL1800 G704/G709
ITEM CODE: WSBRCOMBO, SKU: WSBRCOMBO

My Preferred Tire
This is my 3rd set of tires for my 2015 Wing. They have consistently performed well on the bike and I can easily recommend these if you need a replacement set. |
LED H7 Headlight Bulb Kit for GL1800

Amazing Results
Installed these lights in my low beams on my 2015 (40th Anniversary) Wing. What a difference. Will change out the High beams shortly. The LED Low Beams make the High beams look yellow due to the difference in light frequency. If you are looking to make the jump, these are a great choice. |
Pathfinder Dynamic-Sequential LED Front Indicators with DTR Lights

Outstanding Visibility
If you are a rider that wants to be seen, these are some lights you want to have. Many of my fellow Goldwinger's have ask about these signals. They are definitely eye catching. (and we all know it is about not getting run over by a inattentive 4 wheeler)- i.e. 'conspicuity'. Though I looked at the Cruiseman install video multiple times, I did take a slightly different tactic on the install. Instead of routing the cross connecting wiring under the front cowling (as show in the video). I ran it and secured it to the faring cross bar directly behind the instrument panel. I felt this leads to a much cleaner install, you are already mostly disassembled to this point. **Note** The cross connecting wiring is NOT long enough to route this way. You will need to have Heat Shrink, Solder, and about 4-5" of wire for each conductor to extend the cable. The cable is better protected and secure with this route and you have a good place to hide the LED Relay while you are in this area. Overall a much cleaner install, even though it takes a bit more time. (personal preference for sure) I highly recommend the unit. * If you are running other DTR Lights (i.e. Lower Fog/Running Lights), you might want to check your state regulations on how many WHITE lights you can have. I have been advised that some states only allow 4 white lights on the front of a vehicle. |
Pathfinder Running Turnsignal Rectangle Driving Light Kit

A Great Addition to any GEN2 Wing
These lights are awesome! They are just the right look for the GEN2 (really sharp looking). They add more visibility to the front of the Wing, and when you fire the Driving Lights up, what a difference. They put some light down the road. I recommend taking the extra time to wire the Turn Signal function into this accessory. (1 minor note - the Amber LED's do not wrap all the way up on one side as depicted in the photo. Not a big issue - but be aware) The amber turn signal works well, and is very visible as you get into dusk and night driving. Very happy with this product! |
Passenger Armrest Trim for GL1800

Good Choice To Be Seen
I added these to my new 40th Anniversary Goldwing. As some of the other reviewers have noted, these will definitely add visibility to the rear of the bike. I wired these up so they work with my Wig-Wag module for brakes and work with my turn signals. Ride Safe - Have Fun |
Chrome Passenger Cruise Pegs for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7016, SKU: KU7016

Great Product, But...
After 48 thousand plus miles on the 08 wing, my Co-Rider was in desperate need of a way to stretch her legs on rides over 300 miles. I looked around for a solution to this need, ask questions of our GWRRA friends, and even had her sit on several bikes with this and other cruise pegs. Her favorite was this model. We have ordered two sets of these pegs, one set for the 08 Wing, and one set for the 2015 40th Anniversary wing we replaced the 08 Wing with. In both cases we had big issues with Kuryakyn's quality control. In general the installation of the product is straight forward. The issue came when inserting the passenger angle adjustment set screw. When installing the set screw, the threads were not cut properly on either the screw or the billet it screws into. I both cases we had to re-tap the billet and replace the set screw to match the threads we just cut (10-24 if I remember correctly). This took extra time, and in once case we actually had to 'easy-out' the set screw, which was even more of a pain. I am aware of other riders and their Co-rider having the same issue. That said, I believe these are some of the best Co-rider pegs on the market. Just be prepared to potentially clean up the threads on the angle adjustment set screw. If you don't have a tap to cut the new treads it will cost you the time to get one and to by the appropriate length set screw to match that tap. I also would have liked to see this product in the "Black" chrome. On the 2015 it would have matched the scheme of the Mini Floorboards and the Ego II highway pegs. It would get a 5 star rating otherwise. |
Gloss Black Premium Mini Boards w/ Comfort Drop Mounts
ITEM CODE: KU7564, SKU: KU7564

Comfortable vs Stock
I have found these floorboards to be very comfortable compared to the stock foot pegs. Just like the stock pegs, you can scrape these on the road if you are an aggressive rider. So far no issues as noted in the 1 star review. Looks real good on a Pearl White 1800. |
Ultragard Gold Wing Half Cover Gray
ITEM CODE: BB4458G, SKU: BB4458G

Exceeds Expectation
I purchase the cover for those trips where dragging along a full cover would be quite impractical. This cover exceeded my expectation for proper fit, overall space it requires when packed and looks! I have the Cranberry cover on a 2008 Pearl White 1800 (and it looks real good!) If you are trying to keep 'everything' (i.e. hard rain, dust storms, etc.) from getting on your bike, then you might want to think before you purchase this cover. It was never designed to do that! It is a quick, good looking cover that will keep the dew, light rain and general stuff that falls from the sky off the seat and instrument and control group. Just realize that it does what it was designed for, it is not a mobile garage! |
Utopia Driver Backrest for GL1800 2001-2017
ITEM CODE: UT18MC12, SKU: UT18MC12

Awesome!
This has been an outstanding addition to the bike. It will make those wonderful long trips much more comfortable. Straight forward to install. One note, during the installation you will need to cut through some of the foam cushion material above the seat pan. This requires a LONG serrated knife or other cutting blade. What ever you choose to use make sure it is between 10 inches to 12 inches long. Most standard household knifes might not be long enough. |
Vertical Trailer Hitch for GL1800 1st Gen
ITEM CODE: KU7642, SKU: KU7642

Decent Hitch, But Has Some Design Issues
Overall, I found the hitch to be solid. However, the installation did not go completely as anticipated. The installation took about 2 1/2 hours due to technical issues. The bolts that tie the Trunion Bar to the Crash Bar mounting assembly were shipped too long. This ends up making it impossible ,without doing some addition modifications, to fully engage the bolts into the trunion bars. There is not enough clearance for the 2†supplied bolts to keep them from hitting / gouging the saddle bags. Not to mention trying to put the locking nut into place. Have a ‘Dremil’ tool handy. I had to spend several hours, sending emails, photos and phone calls to eventually get the unit installed. Kuryakyn, from what the customer support told me, is going to review the design and possibly make changes. Even Kuryakyn was confused as to the actual length of the bolts. 2 different sized specified in their documentation. You should not have to cut holes into your saddlebags to install their product. I didn’t have to go that far to eventually get it to work, though some of the other reviewers did. I still believe that the product is an overall good product, just that Kuryakyn needs to address some issues. |
Avon Cobra Chrome Radial Tires for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG23038

4 Stars
I ride year round, and weather permitting, put 80 to 100 miles each day on my 2008 GL1800. I purchased the tires from WingStuff and had these tires installed at one of our local dealers. One of my fellow riders in my GWRRA chapter told me that Traxxion had recommended these tires after he did a suspension upgrade. I believe I have received good advice at this point. I am replacing an extremely worn set of E3’s which gave me right at 19,500 miles. The E3’s had cupped somewhere around the 12,000 mile mark but still had life left in them, howbeit they were a tad noisy in the curves. After the installation of the new Avon’s, Wow!!!! These tires grip the road extremely well. The feel and confidence through the curves is amazing. I think my highway pegs are going to get shorter. The bike just seems to yearn for a good curve to lean over. I will write a follow-up comment to discuss wear, cupping, and handling in various weather situations that some of the other reviewers have mentioned before I give a 5th star. However at this point, I am very impressed with these tires. I do hope I can approach the tire life I have received with my 1st two sets of tires on the bike (18,000 miles plus on each of the preceding sets). |
Kuryakyn Chrome Luggage Rack w/Rubber Inlay for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7151, SKU: KU7151
06.14.2011
4 Stars
I purchased the rack w/o the optional risers. Installation was straight forward, especially after watching the short video on the item page. Kuryakyn does make a extremely nice looking product. My only issue was that the installation instructions provided with the unit were poorly written. I have found this to be normal with Kuryakyn and how they typically write their instructions (poorly at best). The instructions are the reason I gave only 4 stars. One other note is that the additional weight of this luggage rack will probably require you to place some opening pressure on your trunk lid due to the additional weight. Your 'automatic' trunk release will probably no longer leave the trunk in an open position if you release it prior to getting to the bike. As a whole, I am glad I bought this accessory. It does make a distinctive addition to the bike. |
