| Installed them on our '12 wing, wow what a difference!! They really do deflect the wind away from me & my wife on the cooler days, but easily gives you more air on those hot,sweltering dog days of summer ! Definitely makes the ride much more enjoyable!! We highly recommend! |

Wonder why Show Chrome shows the MRSP as $10.95 and Wingstuff shows it as $12.95 and then actually charge $10.99 and make you think it's a deal :) The reason for the 4 stars is because the instructions tell you to put a 10 amp fuse in place of the 5 amp fuse. This is never a good idea as the wiring is often sized for the fuse. In addition, downstream fuses are always sized to blow before the upstream fuse. Increasing this to 10 amp could either cause the wiring to overheat(if you have a 10 amp load plugged in) or possibly cause the upstream fuse to blow first. In the 2006-2010 model, the schematic shows that there are no other loads on the accessory outlet fuse. So, don't upsize it. (I don't know about the earlier model wings.) |
| While these products are a good value, if you use the 90 degree rubber angle valve stems, these pressure sensors will move the valve stem in and out so many times it will eventually fail and leak. After having several of my valve stems leak in me, only while driving, I finally figured out that the pressure sensors were causing the valve stems to move in and out and wear out very fast. I replaced my valve stems with metal 90 degree ones in hopes of resolving this problem, but have not ridden enough miles yet to know for sure that the metal ones fixed the problems. So far so good. |
| An update to my July install & review. Hte install was rather easy. No fit or sharp edges issues. I did note after much experience on hwy driving & w/ heavy crosswinds (lot of here in TX traveling E-W) the bike did exhibit slightly more aerodynamic stability, but not significant. The primary reason for buying this pan is insurance against road demons- you just never know ;-) |
| These lights are the bomb. They really put a nice touch on the back of your bike. Installed these on my 2010 Wing. Install was easy, I took my time because I wanted to make sure I had it right. You will not have a lot of room, but just ease everything into a safe place, make sure your wires are safe, then enjoy these outstanding lights. |
| Installed these a year ago. Lights shorted out and burnt up wiring. I was stopped at a light and had smoke rolling out of the right side of fairing. It burnt the wire coating off from inside the light all the way up to the mirror. I wouldnt have believed it without seeing it. I thought my bike was on fire. It did eventually blow the fuse but not until it burnt itself up. |

Had to have it, being as IT had to match the riding pegs and footpegs. Easy install. Looks good. Raises (duh), the brake pedal a little bit, takes a minute or two to get used to, but other then that, another fine piece of bling for the bike. |
| I've bought three of these sets over the past 20-months and they suck. OK, sound is good, and the speakers fit nicely into the helmet pad, but the weak link in this system is where the cords from the speakers and mic meet and feed into the boom mic. This is a small solder pad where all the wires connect and can pull apart very easily. I've repaired them too many times to be worth the problem. Now the mic won't work and the left speaker went out on a ride today. J&M for me from now on. |

I've run K&N on all my vehicles. ALL. So, my 1800 got one as well. Easy install (as easy as it can BE on a GW 1800). Fit nice. Only thing I do notice is you HEAR the intake now, where you didn't before. NOT that it's a bad thing, there's just more/noticeable noise on accel. Normal cruise, no noticeable noise. There are alot of K&N haters out there. (just go to the GW boards). Personally I think this is a great product, and will continue to utilize them. |

Really brightens up the ass end. I also lowered my license plate, so NEEDED something else to 'highlight' the tail area. This did it. Matches right in with all the other chrome back there. Install was ok. As people have mentioned, it seems a bit wider then THE fender. Nothing a little clamping effort can't remedy. Would do it again. |
