Developed a short in the wiring after one year. Replaced with a Hondaline antenna. Would not recommend.
Wish I had installed these 6 years ago. I'm 6'4" and the little extra height on the handle bars makes all the difference in the world. Would recommend to anyone with long legs amd arms.
Installed these this spring. I can now take my hands off the handle bars at 60 MPH and coast to a stop without any wobble at all. Torqued to 22 Ft lbs after much research online. This seems to be working great. If anything maybe just a hair tight at slow speeds under 20 MPH. Otherwise the bike handles great
The arm rests are made of top quality material but I was less than impressed with the mount system. The mounting brackets are so thick that it was hard for the seat back to fit down tight resulting in a small gap that I did not like. I tried to adjust them but the fit for my 2003 GL1800 was not to my liking. I removed them without ever riding it. For $279 I was disappointed and since I installed them I cannot return them. They are in perfect condition and for sale at a discount if anyone is interested.
This rack was priced right and pretty easy to install. Eyeball X's 3 and drill once for placement. I used a carpentry 1/4" drill bit with the sharp point to ensure the drill bit didn't walk. Then increased the hole with a standard 17/64 drill bit for a little more play in mounting to the rack. The 15/16 bit just looked too big and the 17/64 bit provided just enough. Used the star washers on the top of the trunk for more support and weight distribution. Looks great on my bike and ready to use for a long trip.

Small bag (takes up little room storing it). Fits great. (although it could be made a little looser, but then it'd rub in windy conditions). Looks pretty cool, (as far as covers go). Bottom line, it fits, it covers as much of the bike as I wanted, and it's inexpensive. Quality looks damm good for the price as well. Glad I bought it. |

Goes very well on the F6B, and looks great too ! Very happy with it. |
My last review was in Feb '12 at 13k mi. This shield now has 36k mi & going strong. No cracks or scratches & as far as I can tell reduces buffeting (note- reduces, not eliminates). Very good product value.
i tested this product and found it to be a waste of money and it doesnt do any of what it says it does reading all the outher reviews i have come to the conclusion there are a lot of folks that dont want to admit the wasted there money
well i had a chance to try with new gas like i said i would do in my last post and there was no increase in gas milage so the beads are a wast of money and dont do any of what they claim
Had these installed with new front tire and after 6000 plus good wear on tire with no chop. had new rear tire put on at shop and they had no dyna beads' bought some from Wingstuff and putting them in is a piece of cake with the application bottle. I used a dremel tool to apply constant vibration to valve stem and the beads just rolled right in, No problem.
