| I installed these in place of the factory grips. I really like them and they fit your hand much better. They look great on the bike too. Removing the old grips is easy and installing the new ones is a piece of cake. I would suggest that you place the new ones on the handlebars without gluing them and position them to what feels good to you. Then using a black marker put a dot on the bars and the grip so you can align them once the glue is applied. You have about 5 seconds to get them right before the glue sets so don't delay. I added the colored end rings and weights to my grips and I love the feel and look. |
| This was really easy! Took a total of about 10 minutes and it was done. Just remove the pocket and I used a 7/8" hole saw right where Honda has it marked with an "X". Slid the outlet into the hole, plugged the mating plug into the Goldwing harness (red plug under the pocket)and snapped the pocket back in place. Now I have power for my GPS or Cell Phone or whatever. |
| I installed this on my GL1800. It is just what I wanted and needed. I also bought a new OEM vent and installed it in the new windshield. No problems. |
| I got one of these along with a Y adapter. I plug my audio out from my Zumo 665LM into one side and still have the other side for anything else. Works great. |

| Okay, 5 stars may be premature but I just put the front tire on after running Dunlops front and rear for the last 25K miles (two sets). I had the infamous "front wobble" at 40-45 from Day 1 to the last day on the Dunlops. Already, with just the Bridgestone on the front only the wobble disappeared completely. WOW. My Wing is sooo much more pleasurable to ride now. If I get the same 12K miles plus on the Bridgestones and the wobble is gone 4ever I will keep buying these babies till the cows come home! |
| I bought these (two sets)one for each side mounted as illustrated in the ad. on back hand grips, 18 months ago. I shopped around and found two tall steel insulated drink containers that fit perfectly- I've used a clip and small elastic cords to secure container from the top on each side. Never any issue and they are absolutely not in the way for a passenger to come and go when in place on both sides. I don't carry the containers for short trips but they have never moved out of place or spilled on long trips. You would expect that they would be a problem for the passenger but they don't get in the way at all. I leave the holders permanently clamped and have never had to adjust. |
| I purchased two sets one for me and one for my brother we both have GL1800's and after a long ride we have the same review. BEST PURCHASE YOU CAN MAKE PERIOD. I installed them using plenty of dish soap and they slid on with no problem on a 02 and 06. Reduces hand fatigue. |
