| What was Honda thinking? Not a hard install if you are mechanically inclined. Got it done in 2 hours and 15 minutes. You need two things, an I pad and Steve Saunders you tube video for installing. The rest of the tools are minimal. Set up the I pad on the work bench and just follow along. Install is not for someone that does not enjoy learning their bike inside and out. If you struggle with basic oil changes this install is not for you. Take it to the dealer. Wing stuff was awesome as always with quick delivery. |
| I spent a great deal of time researching new tires for my 07 wing. Bridgestone tires had the best reviews and were a great value. The stones are on all the 2013 & 2014 wings. I ordered Tuesday at 10 am and had them on the east coast at noon Wednesday. Wow, didn't expect that!! . Put the tires on and what a difference. Brand new bike feel again. |

I purchased this at Wing Ding in 2011 from Wingstuff and within a year, the chrome on the top and underside was rusting. The top was just noticeable and the underside looked like a it was completely rusting through with not a single iota of clean metal. Wingstuff replaced the part for me and it has been another year. Guess what- its rusting just as bad. As I really don't want to go through the new part shuffle every year I may clean it up and paint it black to stop the rust. As a cup holder, this is great and my wife loves it for our trips. As far as a quality product from Kuryakyn, good luck. I've had 2 now and both have the same results. For the price I would think they would give you something that wouldn't rust as easily. As far as Wingstuff's customer service, they are great. However, I do not see the point in returning this for a second time as its not Wingstuff's fault that Kuryakyn can't get their quality up to a good standard. |
| This is a nice backrest and pouch! It was so simple to install I actually had to go back and re-read the instructions to make sure I hadn't forgotten something! Very comfortable and almost infinitely adjustable. |
| I had these put on my 2012 Wing as soon as they took it out of the crate. They give the bike a fun, low rumble without disturbing the neighbors or requiring ear plugs every time you start the engine. The get a lot of attention too! Very glad my dealer recommended them! |
| This really makes the glove box on the Generation 2 Gold Wing a very usable space! It's so nice not having a drink holder hanging on the bars and blocking my view of part of the dash. The glove box itself is handy, but this Cubby makes it much better. |
| We received our new windshield (F4 +4 without vent) for our '08 GL1800 trike. Between the video and the printed instructions, the install was fairly easy. Dropped the rubber washers into the bike after removing the wrong bolts by the side mirrors. Retrieving them was successful and the project continued. The next little mis-step was trying to lock in position 4 since this is the +4 and will not be adjusted. You have to PUSH the center slider DOWM and it will click. Then you move it up one click at a time and you are good to finish the install. We had left the plastic the windshield was sealed in on the windshield until we were finished (removing only what we needed to at the bottom). When we stripped off the plastic, we were amazed to see how clear it was...almost invisible. Then we noticed a small bubble at the top edge of the windshield. It was a defect in the acrylic. I called F4 and left a message. I got a call back in less than 15 minutes. I told them the problem and a new windshield is on the way to us. The removal and install the second time will be a snap! Nice folks to talk to and no hassle for replacement. They gave me a choice of a partial refund or replacement. I wanted it to be perfect. A return label will come with the new one and we will be fine. We also installed the Utopia backrest, but that's another review. |
| We received the backrest this morning and got right to work on the bike. Jack took off the armrests and removed the seat. I got out the drill and tape measure and read the instructions. I marked the location for the bottom underside bracket and drilled the holes. After watching the video, it still was tough to make that first cut in the seat. After using several knives, we got the bar through. The holes I drilled were in the right spot and the rest was easy. We got everything back together and took it for a ride. We also installed a new F4+4 windshield for our GL1800, but that's another review. The backrest is great! I like the removable pouch. It doesn't interfere with my getting on or off the bike. It is a winner! |
| Cobra made a great looking and sounding slip-on exhaust. I took all the baffles out and it was too loud for me. I installed 1 babble each in the middle pipe on each side and now the sound volume is just right. The tone of the pipes are deeper and richer. You can't go wrong with these. |
| I first purchased these in 06 for my wing. I have since replaced both for various reasons. The last was two years ago and they are now rusted to a point that I am ashamed of them. I called Kuryakyn and the most they offered was a discounted price that was higher than wingstuff. All these guys needs to do is to put on better chrome and at $250+ how tough can that be. All of my armrests have rusted. one to a point where it broke the arm. I cannot complain about the design and I get used to moving it to open the trunk but I would recommend against getting these if you live where salt can get to them or outside. Come on Kuryakyn, live up to your name. this has severely restricted what I buy from them anymore. I used to count on them but they go to China and have no quality control any more than anyone else I suspect. I would pay more for this if I knew the chrome was better |
| I would recommend this cup holder. I ride a 06 wing and purchased this in 2007. In the morning I use it for coffee and sip it through the straw- Wonderful. Keeps coffee warm for a reasonable period of time like an hour or so. Once the day warms up, I switch to a cool drink. I like to go into gas stations, fill the cup with ice and buy a couple of gatoraids or the like. I fill up the cup and put the balance in my trunk for later. You learn to put the straw down into the ice carefully but not a big deal. Now this keeps things cool, especially with the ice in there. Is it too large? I have never had an issue with the cup mounted on the left handlebar. I have an onboard gps so it does not conflict with that and I have yet to find a good tank bag so I ride without one. you need to consider the swing of the handle bar or the space this takes if you have a tank bag or handlebar mounted gps but usually the gps is on the right. |

Installed the air wings, good quality product, and liked getting the drill bit with it, saved me a trip to the store and worked great, just remember you are drilling plastic not metal takes very little pressure. I also put the hand wings on and the lower leg wings like the way those two work, the dual airwings works good and does help, a little disappointed in the air that continues to get to the passenger. |
