| As other reviewers have said, it is ridiculously easy to install. It also looks OEM (I.e. It looks like the bike came out of the factory with the backrest already fitted). Well done Kuryakyn. I did a lot of research before buying this backrest because it's not cheap. It is fully adjustable to just how you want it - forward & back, up & down, and tilt. I am very satisfied. I have had a similar Kuryakyn backrest on my Honda VTX1300 for many years now and love it. This will be no different. Please note though that my wife only gave it 4 stars from a back seat perspective because her legs touch the chrome support. Not a biggie though. |
| Only 4 stars I'm afraid. The accent itself is absolutely 5 star but the install is tricky if you want it perfectly lined up. Unlike the fender accent (see my review) there is no tab to guide you. There is just the shallow depression in the fairing where it sits. I spent considerable time getting them both lined up with tape and marks at the corners. It's worth it because if they are not lined up it will bug you forever - and once this tape touches the bikes plastic it ain't coming off !! Don't let me put you off though. They are worth it, just be patient. |
| This is a very nice touch. The hole in the front fender needs something chrome and this little piece does it nicely. I think the price is high for what it is (i.e. small) but hey, it's my bike and I want it !! These stick on chrome accents can be very tricky to get on and lined up correctly, but this one has a continuous tab around the inner edge that exactly matches the hole in the fender. So as long as you are co-ordinated enough to get it in the hole (and if you're not the it's time to give up riding !!) then you can't go wrong. Hence the 5 stars. |
| While I agree with some of the other raters that the price for these "plastic" covers is excessive, they really do dress up the side of the bike. installation is a snap maybe around 10 min. to install. The chrome finish is very nice and seems to be a good quality job. Another plus for Kury is that they include some optional self stick mounts in case you want to install lizard lights or other back-lighting behind the covers. Highly recommend these covers. |

After getting over having to drill the tail light, it was nice and simple. I tinted my stock Bulbs red with testors model candy clear paint, and now all lights are red in the rear. Looks much better. -Eric |
| These look really good, especially next to the Transformer passenger boards - a great match. Finish and component quality seems good. But, the foot position is perceptibly higher (and overall a more cramped seating position), and if you install it like the website pix, the reach between the shifter and the brake pedal is significantly larger. Now I need to position my foot so that the heel is on the peg to reach the shifter. I'm going to try to rotate them around to see how they look, or I'll spend more time to see if I can get used to it. Update later. |

| Neat concept. I have the front of my bike all lit up with blue and I thought this would be a nice finishing touch. Breeze is right - shows every imperfection. |

Firstly anyone ordering from Australia, it took only 9 days from the order date to receiving my order up here in Brisbane QLD. I've been looking for this pad for awhile for my 2013 Goldwing. As most owners would be aware the standard side stand pad is on the small side. Having parked up on gravel on several occasions only to watch the side stand slowly but surely sink. Well this sure won't happen again after fitting the Pad. It's solid, doesn't detract from the look of the bike, is easy to fit. My only issue is that an Allen key should be included with the purchase. Then a 5 star rating would have applied. |
| Installed these on our 2013, so the stock extensions came off real easy. Took me only 15 minutes to install the new ones. They look great and it will keep the heat off of our cooler |
| This product will look good on the bike whenever it's connected. It has a red,white and black wires. I dint want to blow a fuse by any chance. This product comes with no instructions. Can anyone out there can help me? |
