Bought these look great easy install and the price was right. But if you are considering the Kuryakyn passenger foot pegs . Hold off on these and save the cheddar, not that much of a difference in bling baby.
Bought this a few years ago, worked well for about six months then the swivel point became very loose. I add a larger rubber grommet below and eventually stuck a nut inside the grommet but it just continued to get worse. I ended up removing this and purchasing the Kuryakyn passenger and driver cup holder to replace this POS. Nice looking cup holder but like the Blond Bomb Shells ...can't get the job done!
I bought these a few years ago and have been using them over several long distance rides, maybe I am the average 6' height but I did not notice a difference, I guess if you are over 6' tall it helps, so my point is if you are average height don't buy these they will not make a difference for you. Take Care and keep riding.
Bought these easy install, look wonderful on the bike, only thing I can add is plan your wiring route before you complete installation.
Bought these and have used them for a few years now, the fit is a little too large and the snap fall off easily. They work for what they are intended but I give it 3 stars for poor quality and design. I will probably buy the Honda version and replace these.
This cove is a perfect fit and looks very nice on top of the kill switch.
The adjustment would not move back far enough for me being 6'4". Otherwise the hardware is very good.
It's all about the looks.
being 6'4" Most people say I look like I'm riding a sports bike instead of a wing, all crunched over., Handlebars hits my long legs in tight turns. Yep, It was a pain in the ARSE !!!!! I just installed the shims, OMG !!! what a difference !!! no more pain in the shoulders, not cramping in my hands. easier reach for the control buttons, and most of all the bars are no longer hitting my legs, I can now make tight u turns. It fells like a whole new bike. I'm loving it !!!
I have always used these. I do a lot of in town driving and at low speeds (
I put this on the frame on the left side of the steering head like on the video. It works well and indicates as advertised when I checked it against a volt meter. I connected it to the power outlet in the left faring pocket and used a 2 pin connector from Radio Shack so I could disconnect it from the harness if I needed to for removal of the faring parts. I will asses it after the rain starts next week here in Washington to let you know if it holds up in the rain. If it survives the rain, then it gets a 5. I did use a little RTV to seal around the base prior to installation.
Received these covers in the mist of a snow storm here in Chicago and -30 degrees. Can't wait to install these to add to the other chrome I have already installed.
