PUT THESE ON MY O7 WHEN NEW. BE AWARE THAT IF YOU HAVE ANY HEEL TOE SHIFTER YOU MUST NOT REST OR HOLD YOUR HEEL ON THE SHIFTER. IT COST ABOUT $2800 IF YOU DO. THATS COST THE YOU WILL PAY TO FIX THE TRANEY. ALSO THESE BOARDS ARE TO HIGH TO USE YOUR TOE SHIFT, THE CHROME WILL CRACK AND PEAL IN TIME. HOPE THIS MAY SAVE YOU THE MONEY THAT I HAD TO PAY. |
I have a real question about these, being a object in the tire with a TPMS system, do they injure or through time I'm sure they create a powder, will the TPMS sending units become damaged or fail ?
Easy installation. Screw the lower portion loosely in place. Clean the upper portion with alcohol. Then line up and press the upper portion in place. Looks great , especially if you install the chrome foot pegs and foot peg holders.
We ordered these, hoping to have bags that would fit all of the trunk and saddlebag space. The bags are sturdy, and well made. The trunk bag fits well, but the saddlebag liners are not shaped like the saddlebags of our 2014 GL1800. They leave useable space inaccessible behind the bag. We pack light, and the bags are tough to wrangle in and out of the the opening. We are ditching the bags in favor of a better packing system that will utilize all of the space that the saddlebags have to offer.
Great jacket. Ordered one and wore it on a 600 mile trip. Very comfortable.
Got a pair of these and they are great. Keep the rain out and very easy to get on and off. Only thing I would change is the clasp's to the other side. Easier to adjust that way.
Easy install, worked good. Did as advertised. After 1 year pulled out tail light. Lights got so hot started to melt sockets. Caught just in time. Disconnected and will stay disconnected.
I have had these on for about 2 years and they do look great and work well with the heated grips. Other folks have reported the chrome peeling away in as little as a few months. I did better than that but they are peeling now at seam where the two halves join. There seems to be a real quality issue with Kuryakyn and their chrome process on metal.
This piece is (was) very nice and easy to install and I was very pleased with it. A short time has now passed and the chrome is already blistering away. This has only been on my bike a little over a year and now looks so bad I removed it. This is a bike that is never left outside and has rarely seen rain.
Easy install, looks good. I added the Vertical Rear Run-Brake Light Strips, Passenger Armrest Trim, and Trunk Accent Swoops w/ LED. Almost have to wear sunglasses to look at them. Really lights thing up at night.
This single piece really dresses up the trunk lid. It's functional and surprisingly solid. The kit comes with a template to help you mark for the 3 holes you'll have to drill through your trunk lid. Easy install. Take your time cutting out the template and start your drilling process with a small bit, then gradually increase the bit size until you finally arrive to the final size drill bit. This process will get you a perfect fit.
I think it took me less than 30 minutes to install this harness total. It actually took more time to tie in the flat connector for the trailer than it did to install this relay harness. Granted, I'm a bit anal and soldered all the connections on the flat connector but this product is great.
