Helibars Horizon LST Bars
Just an update to my previous review. I now have several hours on the bike with the bars and they are extremely comfortable and if you need change ANY aspect, it is a 10 minute adjustment. As for the installation it was very straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. There were two things that I did different than the instructions. 1. Instead of alcohol I used Windex to install the left grip. It gives you a bit more time to slide it on and position it correctly and when it dries, it becomes tacky allowing the grip to stick better. (Used to do that on my motocross bikes.) 2. Well because my hands are not very small, it was impossible to re-connect the dash connectors back up and ensure everything was seated properly and the boots were fully installed. So I removed the windshield completely to gain access from the front of the bike and connected everything up. Now I am looking forward to riding a lot more. |

Now you guys carry it! I installed it and wow. What a difference it makes. If you can't find the sweet spot, it is not the bars. Expensive but very well built and the cross bar firms up the steering and dampens some of the road vibrations. Highly recommended. See mine in my profile pictures. |

Excellent Design
I have just installed these and they work and look great. I removed the switches from the housings (Right and Left) and sent them to ww.mywingbling.com to have painted. Very easy install. My only advise would be that prior to loosening and removing the fluid cover, loosen the bar mounting clamp so you can position the fluid housing as level as possible. This will eliminate any fluid from seeping out onto the paint. But if by chance it does happen, make sure you have alcohol and a rag near by to clean it off ASAP. Otherwise it will damage the paint. I have put a picture of the switch on my profile. |
Triple Chrome Plated Adjustable Flip Up Armrests for GL1800

Great arm rests!
I have come to realize Rivco only makes great stuff. The fitment is a bugger at times but you have to take your time. Just make sure that the passenger realizes that the are only arm RESTS and will not support your body weight. The arm rests will but unfortunately the Honda trunk will not. I especially like the fact that the trunk can be opened with the arm rests up or down. I always get great compliments from people when they see them. |

Sorry I forgot to mention.
I forgot to mention that since the edges are so sharp I went to a automotive parts store and bought the largest grommet they had for the over flow tube that hang down through the hole. I think in no time at all the edges would have cut or worn quite a bit on the tubes. |

WEAR GLOVES
Nice piece. Was a bit of a bear at times but in general not to bad. BUT WEAR GLOVES! It is very thin stainless and it being a stamped piece, the edges are very sharp. My only grip would be that they should at least do something to the edges so they are not so sharp. It seems to work well and the fact that it is vented can only be a plus. Especially here in Florida. |

Great back support and well built.
After researching quite a bit I decided to try this one out. The worst part was the cutting the foam and lignin up the bracket with the holes. Just take your time and it will come together very nice. The longest ride so far was 4 1/2 hours from Jacksonville to Panama City FL. Great support. Now the lower back is not an issue any more. Now it is the butt. Still have the stock seat. Will look into a gel pad next I guess. |
