I have a 96 Goldwing SE. I replaced these back in 98, don't remember what company I got them from, I think they might have been Add-On. Now I needed to replace the old ones (starting to discolor). Any who I got the Show Chrome plugs and they are marked left and right, but these are wider and will not fit in the spot there meant too. They seem to be miss shaped. This was money wasted, because they can not be used at all! |
Bought these grips at a bike dealership, installed with WD40. These have stopped all my hand fatigue and cramping. I highly recommend these grip covers to anyone who wants to ride in comfort.
Love the added chrome look on the mirror. Quick and easy install no problems. If the 2 sided tape does not hold a thin bead of clear silicone will do the trick. :o)
I have had Dunlop , Avon and one set of Bridgestones. The BS are the best by far in my opinion. Great mileage and handling from these things. As long as i own my wing ... these will be my tires. I pull a trailer 90% of time but i dont let it interfere with the way i ride. These things make for some great handling on wet or dry pavement. If you purchase these i doubt you will regret it.
I bought this to charge my Blue Tooth while on the road but quickly found it was not filtered so I got the standard click click click over the speakers. Better option is to go to the trunk and rough a usb cable under the seat to the front pocket if you need it. Otherwise, just check out what you want to do with it. I phone will not charge off of this.
Not sure why they are just available now but I bought mine at Americade in April. I like them because they put out the light and people can see them. I am not much into glitter but I do like being seen. Can also be wired for breaks and turn signals. Anything to light up the back end. I also installed a brake blinker so these flash upon braking
My wife loved it but only after one 5,700 mile trip. We have no long term experience with it so cannot comment on chrome. Personally I like the Butler cup but my wife loved this one.
I thought my wife would love them but after a 5,700 mile trip, she never used them. She did say that if her legs were shorter she might have but these kept her knees too high and fee to high. Possible it might be good for a position change but I had to rely on her for that and she did not use them.
This is my second such rack. The first was on my 2006 and now this on my 2014. Not sure risers are needed but are nice to make it easy to clean and protects the paint from bungies because it holds it farther away. My last one held up great and I have as much confidence in this one as well.
I have had these on my bike for 8 years. A good quality product. Liked the added lighting
My bad-these connect under the rear bag and bring the connection through to under the seat. Make sure to use the dielectric grease for the connections.
Installed on my 05 GW, just 2 screws. To make it easy for you, tape the units in position. Wiring harness is included to connect under mirriors. Great product. Just the right location for the turn signal.
