| I have 1987 GL 1200 Interstate. recently purchased this piece and cant be happier. Fits perfectly, and looks reel good. A tip is to make a line up mark first. had to move once. the cost of re chroming is outrages. very pleased. Daryl Washington State |
| I installed the second set of these on my '15 Goldwing and while the chrome seems more brilliant, it's much more fragile than the set I put on my previous Wing. I drilled two small holes to fasten a PTT switch in the first set without any problems, but when I tried to drill this set, the chrome came off in big pieces. In my opinion, the chrome isn't near as durable as it used to be. |
| Had no problem with the install, loved the feel of these grips, did have to get used to them as they are substantial, but halfway through first ride they felt great. One issue I had was with the clutch switch. I had the clutch lever adjusted fully in to position five on the dial. The thickness of the grip did not allow the clutch lever to "bottom out" and activate the switch to allow the starter to fire, thus I was only able to start the bike in neutral. After figuring it out, I adjusted the clutch lever to position 4 and it solved the issue. |

Got trigger happy. One last IMPORTANT to add to my original review; take a good file and 30 minutes to remove the sharp edges. Since doing that, I can take my belly pan on and off bare handed. |
| I have had this cover for several years and take it on every road trip. I was stuck in tropical rains for several days in Fla. last year, kept my Gold Wing dry and clean. The elastic is starting to show some wear, but a great cover for the money. It packs small and easy on and off. You will not be disapointed. |

I bought this item after watching the Floorboard Installation video. Rode to the bottom of our street, turned left at the roundabout and scrapped the extender big time. This happened on every left hand bend I took for the week it was on. I removed the extender after cutting my hand on it as the outside edge was like a razorblade. The 3 bolts worked loose twice causing the extender to slide down the stand and scrape even further along the ground. Great for a spak show but sorry guys but this item is dangerous. |
| The Progressive Monotubes have really transformed my 01 wing into the motorcycle that Honda should have built. My suspension was pretty lousy when I bought my bike and now my wings front end performs better than new. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to upgrade their front ends performance. |
| I ordered mine about 1.5 years ago. In about 6 months the backrest broke off. Wingstuff people took care of it and sent me a new one. (thank you). And the new one is just a piece of junk as well. One side of sliding assembly is refusing to move at all. I have taken it a part 3 times and lubed the hell out of it. It would work for a couple of weeks and then starts again. It turned rusty in couple of places and the glue that holds Velcro to the backrest is coming off. |
| Have seen these on other bikes and liked what I saw, which is what prompted to purchase this item. When it arrived, after pulling apart the rear to get to the harness, I discovered there was no place to plug into the harness; All connectors were in use. The only way I could possibly connect this would be to rewire the entire rear harness to accommodate for multiple light kits. Since I don't have the time or money to do this, I wasn't able to install the kit. |
| The Battlax, BT 45, 130/70/H18 is by far the best tire I have ever had on my Champion, Goldwing Trike. Remember, this is a rear tire with wider profile. I reversed the rotation. I now have 12,700 miles on the front tire and it shows little wear. The new tire had 7mm of tread, it now has 5mm of tread remaining. In 12,700 miles of varied road, I have used only 2mm of tread. That's approximately 1/8th inch of tread used in 12,700 miles. I fully expect to get over 20k safe miles on this tire. The tire tracks true, with softer ride and reacts well on wet pavement and in high winds. Can't recommend this tire more. Good luck, safe riding. |
| 3 years with this gas sucking sail have not liked from the start scratches like all the other shields and flops in the wind thinner than stock so clamp dosen't hold in place very good had all i can stand going to a tulsa |
| I bought these boots despite previous reviews on this site. Other sites reviews of this product aren't so bad. So I took the plunge and got them, and really don't have any complaints about this boot. Firm boot all around including shift pad area. I like them better than my tourmaster solution 2.0 boots. Still waiting for the rain gods to do their thing, to see how the waterproofing works after that maybe 5 stars? The soles are like the 2.0 maybe bit thicker. No issues with eyelets at this point. |
