| I got my windshield today and with a little knowledge from Rob from Colorado, this thing was installed in 15 minutes! The ride is much better with less wind in the face. Great product! |

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to order the cowling.However, the one on my bike had been broken since I bought it, so I figured this would be an improvement. I had to remove the small chrome tabs on the outer corners of the cowling to make it fit. Next, I got the 2 side screws in but left them loose. The center screw , as has been mentioned, did not line up. So, I used a small jack and with a little pressure was able to line up the center screw. As you are doing this, make sure you are not pushing the cowling into the hoses, or causing it to bind somewhere it shouldn't. I tightened it all the way then went to the outside screws and made sure everything was lined up alright before tightening them all the way. As this model and year is out of production, we can not anticipate any changes to the existing stock of these after market parts. Because other folks had posted their comments, I was able to follow their guidelines and with some finesse the job was completed in about 35 mins. We can not expect this part to be like a plug and play item. Bikes will vary slightly from bike to the other. It was excellent quality and really looks good on my GL1500. |

| If someone could please tell me the wattage of the 07 GW GL1800 radio. I had a kicker speaker set installed buy a audio comopany and it sux. the owner said its the best but i disagree. Looking at this speaker. its on back order. Please email me with help. |
| They went on no problem and look great but I'm 5 10 with a 31 inch inseam and the reach forward was too much for me. I ordered the 4 inch arms and all is good. It would be nice if the extensions came in black. |
| I have used dozens of quick releases over the years and this is by far the WORST one I have had. I would give it a zero rating if that were possible. The metal half of the unit is well built, but the black plastic is crap. First of all, it was shipped to me with no slot in the black plastic loop. How did they expect me to put the nylon loop of my helmet strap through a closed loop? The helmetsinc.com website had no instructions. After seeing the photos on wingstuff, I had to cut the slot in the black plastic myself. Then while slipping the helmet's nylon strap loop over it, the plastic broke. Ten dollars wasted. The design is good, other than the cheap black plastic used. If it broke so easily trying to install it, would it hold if it was needed in a crash? Don't waste your money on this one. |

| I bought a larger size first. It was comfortable I gave that one to my wife and decided to get the smaller one on the second order for myself. After about six months use I noticed leaks so I repaired it with the patch that was given. I noticed multiple leaks again. Then It was beyond repair so I put it away( I still have it if someone wants to see it). Since I ride much I used my wife's seat cushion, and I noticed leaks around the place where you put air in it. I am very disappointed with the product that is not so cheap in price but very cheap in quality. While I like the product for the time that it lasted(for both of them about a year), I don't like the cheap workmanship. SORRY AIR HAWK GUYS! |
| Like the rest of the reviews, I agree. My bike runs smoother and gets a little better mileage. The best part is the radiator cooling fans do not run as much as they did with regular oil. |
| Excellent lights, but in spite of what the description says - it ONLY includes the adapter for 4 inch speakers. If you want to mount this over a 5 inch speaker (front speakers) you have to manufacture you won mounts for it. |
