I hated looking at that factor hole in the side of my fender. I wondered why they didn't make something to dress it up. Finally, I saw the solid plug was was not attracted to it. It just looked like a lead weight. When I begin building my trike list and reviewing the parts in Wingstuff.com I noticed this item. I ordered it and a few weeks later ordered one for my two wheel wing. Makes a very nice difference to that open hole in the front fender! |
| I ordered the timing cover with the eagle in the center for my wing, It always felt loose and gave me the feeling it would fall off any time. For my Trike this year I ordered this metal cover with center screw in plug. Much better fit, I will order another one of these for my two wheel wing over the winter quarter. |
| These are really nice lights and are a perfect fit for the the 2010's dowm! I have an 2008 1800 and fit great. You just have to change the cowl and use the oem on/off switch for the older bikes. |
| This is an awesome set of DVD's! No excuse to avoid the dreaded air filter change anymore! Or any other maintenance on the mighty Goldwing. Detailed and thorough, it will easily pay for itself with one maintenance job you do! If every Goldwing owner had this, the cycle shops would be in dire straights indeed from a servicing perspective for Goldwings. Your car can only hope to be as lucky to have such a detailed maintenance guide! I agree with another reviewer re need for chapters to skip to directly but judged on the content, 5 stars! |
| I got this oil as it is less than half price of what the dealer wants for NON synthetic! A no-brainer! But also it is designed especially for a motorcycle and I know it is a top quality product from Castrol. I don't think it shifts any better or such but I have the peace of mind that extreme heat (and more importantly here, cold weather) ensures my luxury Goldwing engine is fully protected. During those few seconds upon start up, when cold, I know that the residual oil is lubricating immediately those parts that need it until the oil is warmer and fully circulating. Ride on! |

I purchased these from WingStuff 2 years ago and really like the comfort they give me. Unfortunately I noticed this year that the chrome on the left board was starting to "bubble" up. I called WingStuff and, as usual, they were really great about the problem. Unfortunately the warranty has expired (1 year) but they gave me the number to reach Kuryakyn. After talking to Kuryakyn I was very disappointed as they said there was nothing they could do. My bike has NEVER been left outside UNCOVERED and I even cover it in my garage. I have spent 1000's of dollars on Kuryakyn products and this is how you are treated for buying what is obviously a defective item. In the future I will be looking for OTHER manufactures to buy products from. In the mean time I will have to remover the defective item and have it chromed PROPERLY! THANK YOU WINDSTUFF FOR YOUR HELP! |

Another reviewer stated he lost one of the fillers. I, too, am having a problem keeping the filler on the right side securely in place. Thus far, I have been able to keep it from falling out. I believe the wiring harness along the right side of the tunnel keeps the filler from fitting properly. I am going to use some two-way tape to try to keep the filler in place. If that does not work, I may do some trimming on the right filler around the wire harness to allow it to fit better. On the plus side, the fillers do reduce the air flow through the tunnel, thus blocking most debris, and reduces noise. I would purchase the filler again, but I think some modifications may be necessary to keep them firmly in place. |

I had researched Helibars for quite a while, and took the leap after a friend's funeral. I was #2 in a bike procession to the cemetery, whose entrance was a 90° turn with an immediate uphill grade of broken asphalt. Negotiating the turn on my ’08 GL1800 at a slow 5(?) mph, PLUS the ramp up, put a tweak on the forks which gave a shake and nearly dumped the two of us. (I don’t think she knew, but it definitely startled me.) So I figured I wanted additional control if I was ever in that situation again. The couple hundred miles I’ve put on the bars so far have been enjoyable. I immediately noticed more control during slow turns, such as doing a left turn across traffic from a dead stop. Being of medium frame and not having especially long arms, I’m now able to bring the bars back and twist them in for a much more comfortable ride. I did the install myself. I’d give the included instructions an A-, wanting more detail in some of the directions (such as where those damn securing clips are located on the electrical connections). I definitely recommend having the bike’s maintenance manual nearby since some of the installation instructions did not work at all (such as the removal of the instrument dash – no use of a card to pop the speaker screens on this model (since they’re bolted to the inner face of the dash)). Download and read the instructions while you’re waiting for the delivery, to determine if you feel confident to do the work yourself. It’s not rocket science, but I did need to use an air powered impact wrench to loosen the original handlebar bolts. Most of the frustration came during the break down process, versus the install. The parts were well packaged, and the powder coated finish is nice. A well designed product that I think you will definitely enjoy. Save up your quarters … it’s worth it. DavidE |

I have had at least 4 different brands and styles of fog/driving lights installed on my Wings over the years and these are the best I have found so far. I love the LED DRLs, which I use in the daytime. The driving lights are bright enough to provide good fill light and dramatically increase conspicuity. Install is straightforward (watch my YouTube video) and the turn signal feature is just another bonus that you won't find on any other lights. I have always had great luck with SoCalMotoGear products. |
| I had my mirrors installed more than five years ago. These mirrors were one of the first items installed when I purchased my bike. Not only do the mirrors perform well the built in turn signals adds a sense of beauty and an element of safety. The lights embedded in the mirrors flashes at eye level of the vehicles to your left or right. Motorist often spoke highly of the how the mirror lights capture their attention. With over five years of use the mirrors still maintain off the shelve reflectiveness. I have cleaned them several times with no degradation of quality. |

| Great OEM oil I've always bought but a couple bucks less each than buying locally... OEM, synthetic, any other brand- what really matters is regularly changing your oil and not running on dirty oil or filters... |
