I just finished the project and I have a lot to share. First off the C.R.S. owner is very nice and called me back on a Saturday afternoon! Next, Wingstuff was also helpful with this and offered to pay return shipping if I wanted to send it back, (they didn't do this with my last item that was unsatisfactory!). Removing the stock hardware was not a problem. The correct tools really help. If you have to remove hardware 1/4 turn at a time, or you round off the end, you have the WRONG tool! Placing coins (nickels or quarters between the springs was a brilliant idea! Thank you to the person who shared that. After installing the C.R.S. you will notice and additional 1/6 of an inch in lateral play (side to side) this is NORMAL. When the stand is in the up position it comes very close, or even touches the anterior part of the exhaust cover. The stock arm fit nicely in the center of this indentation. The instructions say to move the shroud. What the heck?? Well, the owner said that all you really have to do is slightly bend it with your thumbs so the arm fits nicely without touching. I was concerned about this but it does bend very easy and it was a breeze to mould it away from the arm without causing any cosmetic issues. Now for the problem.....When this stand is used you can no longer rotate your rear tire. What if you get a flat and want to plug the tire, put in some air, clean the rim, etc.? Someone suggested a board under the new stand, but the differences in thickness makes a huge difference in operation. I'm 5'9" tall and weigh 160 pounds dripping wet. I don't have the weight to overpower this beast. My solution was to buy a piece of solid oak 5" X 18" X 3/4". The board alone under the stand would not let the tire spin and any additional boards were either too difficult to get the bike on/off, or would just slide on the floor when attempting to set the bike on it. So I purchased two pieces of THICK rubber floor matting and epoxy glued it to BOTH sides. Now it doesn't slide and the rear wheel clears the ground and spins. This is a sensitive thickness. Too thick, and the bike won't stand, too thin and the tire won't spin. I chose this size of board because it fits on the floor of the right rear side compartment. The instructions suggest two boards 1" thick but one long/wide board covered with rubber is easier to use and does not slip out from under the stand. I put the bike on/off the board while standing on the left side of the bike just like when using the stock stand. I cannot rock it or ride it off the board while siting on the seat, so I grab the rear handle and the bars and just shove it off the board while standing on the left side. This won't be used often, but when needed, it will allow the wheel to spin or be removed as it did before the new C.R.S.! And yes, my skinny frame can do this with NO PROBLEM! Now I have solved all my center stand issues. Don't forget to leave the bike in reverse or first when on this C.R.S. to prevent a roll off! |

Not for me! I don't like the design, fit or finished look. First of all there is a strip of metal in the back of this that contacts the paint. They put a stip of wx seal to ease the contact with the paint but it does contact so if you install this on your stuck with it. Most of these stick on products can be removed with fishing line and then you can clean up the surface. This one will leave permanent damage to the paint. My Second issue is the wire covers on the side look like a mistake. My third issue was the tape is only on the bottom of the unit and as you read reviews others have had a problem with the fit. My fourth problem is getting debris underneath this and not being able to clean it. My fifth issue is just because of the above complaints Wingstuff made ME pay for return shipping! I have purchased thousands of $ of stuff for my bike and many made by Kury. In my opinion, this is not one of their best designs! |

I'm only 5'9" and my wife is 5'3". We have a custom Corbin seat that sits lower than oem. I wanted a little more height but I really wanted to have some options to adjust the height. I was very glad to read that the tall 4" above stock option was NOT able to adjust. It is always in the tall position. I ordered the 2" and it works very well. All the way down for just me and then elevated with my wife. The velcro strip is visible so be very careful installing it!! This is a great product and the owner and his wife couldn't be nicer or more helpful. We are very happy! |

This was a easy install and is mostly hidden. The left side arm was tricky to install. I used a grinder to flatten out an open end wrench and I was be to tighten all the bolts with the bag in place. Great product. |

This requires clamping on the edges. I used rags and plastic clamps and left it overnight. |
