Good Investment
Another good investment to protect your fog lights which would be pretty expensive to replace. |

Gotta have 'em !
If you have fog lights...you need to get these. WAY cheaper than replacing a light. I've had a few pairs over the years. When they get pitted and can't be cleaned anymore...I replace them. When I drill the cowl...I measure to leave a little room to get one of those foam paint brushes (on the wooden handle) between the lens and the fog light. That way I can sneak that soapy foam brush in whenever I wash the bike...to keep the back of the lens and the light itself, clean! |

good insurance
First line of the instruction was "remove lower cowling." That translates to "have your Mechanic install" for me. Which he did, and after the professional job, it looks good. I hate to think how many of these I would go through since a drill is involved. They seem kind of pricey to me but then, most things do anymore. I just had them installed so I can't comment on their efficacy but I am more comfortable now. |

Great Investment
I have these on my '06 Wing and I ride year round in Colorado and well beyond. I had to replace my lower lamps in the first year because of all the pitting from road junk and I installed these protectors. Yes they get all the road junk / pits, scratches. They are much, much easier to clean, buff, polish the the pits / scratch out than the lower lamps. One may wish to remove the lower cowl and dust off the lamp about every 6 months. These are far better than the velcro disks that are offered by WS. These allow full use of the lamp's reflector and the rubber mount allows flexing that they doesn't easily break. I hit a jack (rabbit) at night at about 70 mph in the desert. The protector flexed no damage on lower cowl or lamp, just hair left. Dent left on metal exhaust chrome cover. I liked these well enough that I have a backup set. Best protection I've seen for lower lamps. I also recommend similar protectors for head lamps. |

Nice peice of equipment. I have used them for over 40k miles and by the nicks and cuts they have kept a lot of road debris away from the fog lights. They do get dirty, as everything else on the bike does but it is a simple thing to clean them. |

I have had these on my GW for two years and they do what they are suppose to do and thats protect the fog lights. I take them off and put them back on often for cleaning and my fog lights still look like new. I believe these are a must have with fog lights. It's would be easier and cheaper to replace these rather than busted up fog lights. Easy install |

I've had these on for a year now. Took them off to reinstall on the chrome cowling I just got. They obviously did their job, quite pitted and scratched. The fog lamps look like new. I am sure these have saved my lights. |

Like everyone else says they do a good job of protecting the driving lights. the KEY to installing these is in the drilling bit. Amust have in drilling plastic is a christmas tree bit. They are very sharp and, drill a small hole first then drills one size bigger at a time. The futher you push the bit in you get one size bigger at a time. Simply put the covers on the crowl, then tape it with masking tape. Mark your holes with a marker then remove it. Drill baby drill. You can get a better picture of what they look on my photo gallery. |

Just installed these on my new 2010 after installing fog lights. Somewhat of a pain to install. First one was crooked just a hair. You probably wouldn't notice but I know its there.LOL The second one was easier and straight. Item does what it says it does and like every one else a must have to protect the bubs. |
