Park and move
I bought this dolly to put my bike in a tight corner in my garage , it's hard to lift the bike on the dolly by myself, with the help of my wife it's much easier. it's a great product to move my bike around the garage , I can roll my bike into a tight corner with ease, for winter storage. |

Works great but...
It works great but it raises the rear wheel a little higher which puts the center stand in an almost vertical position. I would suggest a small wheeled dolly to place under the front wheel to level the bike, like the kind you would put under a snowmobile ski . The more of an angle on the center stand, the less chance you have of the center stand retracting if you hit an obstruction while wheeling the bike around. Very handy when putting the Goldwing in the garage for her season of hibernation |

Nice Little Tool
So, I read the reviews and was a little concerned about all of the comments around problems in lifting the bike up onto the stand. But, I figured what the hell ... I really do need something exactly like this to be able to store my 'wing in a very tight garage, especially since my wife said her 'vette isn't going anywhere. I received the device yesterday, and in my humble estimation, it is perfect. First of all, I did what I never do and actually read the directions, which is why I now know that raising the rear suspension to it's highest point makes loading easier. Second, I learned that placing a simple 2 x 8 under the rear wheel and reversing onto it makes loading the dolly easy - no harder that putting the bike on the center stand in a parking lot. I didn't have to build a special stand or little ramp ... just backed onto the 2 x 8. I have the stock stand - no "special" center stand and this method worked perfectly. Not only that, I did it 4 times just to confirm I wasn't just lucky on the first try. As far as moving the thing around the garage and having the bike tilt or fall off, I can't even imagine how you would do that if you were just being careful. First off, push the thing slowly ... how much time are you saving by trying to push it as fast as you can? If you do this and do hit a pebble (you should have swept the floor first), the momentum will be insufficient to tip the bike. It will just stop and you'll have to remove the obstacle. How to move it. I don't know if the guy in the video is actually a rider or not, but I would highly recommend that you don't push your 900 lb. motorcycle around by the spoiler, especially by pushing down to raise the front wheel - that is unless you want to buy a $1,000 trunk lid. Instead. I would say to only move it with one hand on the handlebar and one on the passenger grip. And, despite other claims, I found that pushing or pulling really doesn't make much difference. To unload the bike, you can follow the cumbersome manufacturers instructions by tightening down the difficult to reach thumbscrews on the wheels or you could do it the easy way. How's that? Put the 2 x 8 back under the rear wheel, put two wedges (you might have to make these - I used paper wedges that printers use to adjust stacked of paper) under each of the forward wheels and just push the damn bike off the dolly. No muss, no fuss. Remember to readjust your suspension before riding. This is a great little tool but at first I thought it was a little pricey. Wrong. This thing is built like a tank and my guess is that it will easily outlast me on this earth. I rate it a 5 star "buy" |

Updated review on my 2 dollies!
As you can tell from my previous review below, I like the dolly. So much so I bought another one for my son's VFR. I was surprised to see that his was painted a bright yellow (nice) and had different caster/wheels on it than mine from 3 years ago. My original (?) dolly has the dual wheel with the dark grey colour stand. It moves around fine. However I decided to put my Goldwing on the new one with a single wheel (as shown in yellow/photo) and WOW...it is even easier to roll around! It's like the dolly has power steering now! As usual, be very careful to have an absolutely clean floor when moving it around. And when you want to change directions (i.e. from moving the bike sideways to going backwards), gently push it so it allows the wheels on the dolly to realign otherwise your bike CAN go flying off the dolly...not fun! Always keep your sidestand down for precaution and if you find it moves when putting the bike on the dolly, use a wedge like I do sometimes. I also ensure to put the bike up on the dolly using my heavy duty riding boots as it helps to reduce the pressure point of the centre stand tab where you press down. I can't lift my bike up with my running shoes on for instance. With the amount of weight (900+ lbs) on it on two very small points of contact, I am extremely pleased to see absolutely no deflection/bending of the platform whatsoever. A bit more effort of course to get the bike on the dolly but there's no way I could store 2 bikes in my tiny garage with 2 cars without these versatile and well built dollys (dollies?). And remember: MADE IN THE USA. |

Not as easy as it looks
I saw this unit demonstrated on a Harley at the International Motorcycle Show. It looked amazingly easy to use and I thought it would be perfect for my garage. Lifting with all my might I could not get the bike on the stand and I'm 6'2" 285 lbs. Tried putting a piece of plywood under it and with some effort I got it on the stand. I'll have to try a 1" board. I had high expectations for it but would not recommend this product. |

Easy to use, extremely well made
I don't understand the negative views for this dolly. Does it require some muscle to get the Goldwing up on it? Yes. But remember this is a 900+ motorcycle. Here's how I do it. Leave your bike on the sidestand. Roll the dolly under and then gently pull down the centre stand so you can see where the 2 points of the stand will land on the dolly. By putting the dolly under the bike from the 'passenger' side, the dolly wheels are perpendicular to the bike so the dolly won't roll. Go to the 'drivers' side of the Wing and push down with your weight on the centre stand and PULL the handle and up she goes! Practice will get it right and up in one attempt. Move the bike slowly AND KEEP THE SIDE STAND DOWN! Once I had a piece of gravel in my garage and the dolly caught it and the Wing came off the dolly & centre stand! Horrors! All I could do was push the bike to my right side and it landed on the side stand! Fortunate! When it's time to remove your Goldwing off the dolly, do NOT do it sitting on the bike! Well you CAN do it, but I used a wood wedge (door stop) to prevent the dolly from moving forward at the same time as the Wing. It is however much easier to do it this way: With the sidestand DOWN still, put your foot/toe against the dolly and then push down on the back of the Wing and then push it down in the front hard and it will fly off the dolly. I also again make sure the dolly wheels are perpendicular to the Wing so they kind of lock and the dolly doesn't roll forward. I know it has wheel locks but I can't be bothered to reach down and lock them. This well built dolly means I can easily store my luxury touring rig anywhere in the garage and makes it so easy to work on the bike. Just make sure that your garage floor is clean so you don't catch a piece of gravel/stone like I once did. Happy parking! |

Long Term Use Review
I've now had the Park-n-Move for three years. I, too have the Baker ride-off centerstand which is shorter than the OEM. I use 3, 3/4" thick boards to roll the rear wheel up on to make it easier to get onto the dolly. I use 2, 3/4" boards laid on top of the dolly to get keep the rear wheel in the air making it easy to move the GL1800 around the garage. I use the control joint in the garage floor to catch the front wheels of the dolly so I can rock the bike off the centerstand. The non-functional wheel locks are a minor nuisance rather than a dealbreaker. Without this tool I would have to build a garage for the Goldwing! |

Needs work
First try (after watching the film and reading the written instructions) was successful on getting the Wing up on the Dolly. Need a 1.5 board under the back tire to do this. Every thing OK. Moved the Wing a round very good. Tried to get the Wing off the dolly. Dropped the bike. Had to get a neighbor to help get the Wing off the dolly so I could bring it up to level position. Decided I was not strong enough for the dolly. Had a friend though that was interested in the dolly. He came over. We got the Wing on the Dolly. (With the help of the 1.5 board). We moved the Wing a round. My friend was impressed. Then with him on one side and me on the other we lower the Wing off the Dolly. It was painful! He decided he did not need the dolly. I then sent the Dolly back by UPS (paid $53.00 shipping.) The film did not show lower the Wing off the Dolly. I did lock the wheels when lowering both times. Good idea but needs work. The metal sides of the dolly make me feel that the metal sides could dent or scratch the GoldWing. I give it two stars because it needs a lot of more developing. Dan Fornero |

Good but not great
I've owned one of these for about 3 seasons now, originally I had a very uneven surface to work with which made this almost impossible to use. Two years ago that was resolved with a new floor and now I feel that I can give a proper review. First of all it is critical to get your bike centered on this as best as possible. If you aren't closed to centered you will find it very difficult to move your bike. This might not be as much of an issue for lighter bikes but with a wing it seem imperative. One trick I use is to put a piece of wood on the floor and roll the bike's back tire on it. this makes it easier to slide the Dolly under the bike without a lot of fuss. This also makes it a lot easier to get the bike up on its center stand. Once on the stand is where the fun begins! Even with the bike centered in the dolly you will find that it is very easy to pull the bike towards you but pushing it away from you can be a challenge to the point that I even pushed the bike right off the dolly once which really put the bike in a precarious position. Oh and I use the same board trick when I am taking the bike off the center stand while on the dolly and I've never really had an issue. Bottom line I bought one, I have it and will use it when I have to put my bike away. Would I buy another one? No I just don't think that is really made for such a heavy bike. |

Park n Move
I've had this for about three years. It saved me from having to build a new garage!!! Moving the bike is a snap. Now I don't need to lock the wheels to get it off of the Park n Move. It's a smooth rock with my right foot against the center stand foot lever. Getting up on the stand take some fineness and conviction. For awhile I would run the front wheel on to a flat 1x6 piece of wood to give the bike a bit higher center stand clearance. The real trick is to get the center stand feet to be placed squarely in the center of the Park n Move. After getting the hang of it I don't need the 1x6 . You also got to have a smooth clean garage floor for it to roll smoothly. |

I find this product works very well to move my bike against a wall for space or to move around for any reason. The BIG problem I have with this is that I can't get the bike to come off the center stand when on this dolly !! Doesn't matter if I am sitting on it, or standing beside it, this dolly slides with each attempt to get the bike off the center stand. The video makes it look easy, but I just can't get the wheels to lock well enough to allow my bike to come down. I experimented with various tensions of the wheel nuts adjusting them to the point where I have to use pliers to move the lock....but this didn't make a difference either. I will say that I do have a epoxy garage floor so this might be the problem. Either way tho...this dolly should have a better way of locking so the bike will release. I called the company and they said they have had many calls about this issue, but they have no solution to this problem. I will gladly adjust my review to 5 stars if this problem is addressed. |

I've been using the Park-n-Move dolly for about a year now with my GL1800. I park my bike in a 12'X 20' concrete floor outbuilding that is shared with two other motorcycles and my riding mower (as well as a sundry of related stuff). The dolly allows me to drive straight in, turn the bike around and move it against a wall - and facing the door so that I can ride right out. It is so much easier than trying a 30 point turn around inside the building or backing my bike down the ramp and turning around on the gravel pathway. I also have the Bakerbuilt Power Park Center Stand Replacement on my Wing. This required that I modify the dolly a little bit (adding to it to make it a little taller) in order to allow the stand to raise the bike off the ground for turning. In addition, I built a small (1 1/4" thick) ramp for the front tire to aid in getting the bike onto the stand on the dolly. Overall, this is a sturdy, well built dolly that allows me to move my bike around in a tight space and move it easily out of harm's way. And it’s small enough that it stores out of the way when not in use. |
