Fred Harmon Videos..Wow !
| This is without doubt, the most useful purchase I have ever made. I just picked up my 06 Wing from a Honda Dealer after having the latest brake recall done. I had new tyres fitted at the same time....went for a ride and noticed a scraping sound as I was parking in the garage. It turned out to be the rotor scraping on the left hand front outer caliper. So I removed the left caliper etc.from the bike and put the relevant DVD in the computer, and in no time had all the information that I needed to fix it properly. I am astounded that they didn't check the gap between the rotor and caliper housing at the shop. You can save a fortune by having this set of videos. Steiny from downunder |

Don't fear the Air Filter change!
| This is an awesome set of DVD's! No excuse to avoid the dreaded air filter change anymore! Or any other maintenance on the mighty Goldwing. Detailed and thorough, it will easily pay for itself with one maintenance job you do! If every Goldwing owner had this, the cycle shops would be in dire straights indeed from a servicing perspective for Goldwings. Your car can only hope to be as lucky to have such a detailed maintenance guide! I agree with another reviewer re need for chapters to skip to directly but judged on the content, 5 stars! |

I have to be honest
| I bought this because I could not work out the release on the clip behind the ignition. I found out how on his video for removing the top shelf. I then proceeded to cry when I saw how much work to get to the air cleaner. Good thing I am hands on, Another good thing that he goes into so much detail. I loved the bloopers as well. The only thing that would of made it better was if he had of put chapters in the dvd so you could skip to sections. Also I understand the disclaimer needs to be there, but really on every dvd what is the world of litigation coming to. For me the set was worth it as I have used it for finding the best way of removing panels. |

The best set available.
| Without a doubt, this is the most detailed, comprehensive set of maintenance videos for the GL1800 Gold Wing out there. Everything you need to know and more about maintaining a GL1800 is in this package. Fred Harmon and his camera show you in painstaking detail every step of every job. Fred takes his time in explaining as he goes along. No ads, no fluff. I often take my laptop out to the garage with me when I'm doing work. This is work I'd never even attempt otherwise. I'm not a mechanic and I don't do well with just the manuals - I'm more visual and like to watch the work being done. These DVDs are like having an expert buddy in the garage right next to you. There are still some things I will not attempt because it's too involved and/or I don't have the proper tools but I find it valuable to see what I'm asking a mechanic to do - I'm a little happier to pay for the job and I have an idea what to check when it's done - just going over to make sure things were done right. Currently Fred is doing work for customers out of his own garage and, for those lucky enough to live near him, that's great! For the rest of us, this is a great alternative. Don't waste your time with other videos - this is the set to have. You won't regret this purchase. |

Very helpful
| I used Fred's videos to change the air filter and the rear shock on my 2001 GL1800. They were immensely helpful with detailed instructions all along the way. I am looking forward to using the videos to show me how to maintain my Gold Wing for many more miles. |

Fred Harman's maintenance DVD set
| I recently purchased this set and was blown away. Fred really goes out of his way to make sure you understand each and every move. He's fantastic. At first I thought I was wasting my money, but after receiving them. I was overjoyed. If ever he comes out with one for the Honda Gold wing F6B I would definitely buy it. There is not much difference, but there is some thank you Jerry |

A HUGE Help!!!
| I ordered this DVD set about a year ago. After viewing the DVDs I have been able to completely take my 2012 Goldwing apart numerous times, to add LED lighting, accessories and perform maintenance without ANY problems. The DVD video presentation is not fancy by any means -- however it is done in "layman" terms. In other words, even the biggest amateur(dummy) can take the bike apart, thanks to Fred's mechanical abilities & close-up video shots with his video camera. "A picture may be worth a thousand words", however a close-up video pointing out tips & tricks and ways to do the job WITHOUT having to study a book is virtually PRICELESS! I have saved HUNDREDS of Dollars in Dealer Labor Costs thanks to this DVD set. It is THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE SO FAR!! I HIGHLY recommend it! |

Fred's DVDs
| A lot of helpful information with a visual to see how to do things. I was a little surprised, having never seen a Fred video before, Fred he explains things same as you or I would do the task. Fred often makes references to the Honda shop manual which is a big plus for those of us who have the $80 manual but with his directions a manual is not a requirement. |
