Help prevent left fork seal leaks
Very easy to install! The 01 - 17 Wing comes equipped with a anti-dive valve on the left fork. Unfortunately a sudden compression of the forks, often caused by hitting a pothole or bump can cause the left fork seal to fail. This shim disables the anti-dive valve, reducing the likelihood of the left fork seal failing. |

ADV Shim
My experience does not match that of other riders who tried this on their Wings. Suspension travel and road "feel" remain about the same under all conditions on all surfaces. Put another way, the OEM forks behave exactly as they always have when downward compression has not been arrested, just as a bump will feel harsher when fork travel is limited by a device activated by rear brake pressure. Of course, back-to-front weight transfer now stops less abruptly, as one would expect with anything designed to limit or disable the ADV; for that, the shim deserves five stars. As for claims and expectations of a smoother ride overall under all conditions .. well, I suggest looking elsewhere. For what it's worth, installation was quite easy. So props there! |

Amazing little fix!
I’d been trying to decide which suspension to install. I’m 95% one up rider so I didn’t want or need heavier springs or altered valving. I put this simple shim in figuring I wouldn’t be out much if it didn’t do what I wanted, I’m so glad I did! No more handle bar buzzing in washboard road conditions or in and out of sharp edged curbing. Thanks WingStuff guys |

Anti-Dive Fork Shim
This is an excellent product, very well manufactured and fits perfectly. Installation couldn't be any easier and the results are as advertised. Now I have excellent control under braking with proper suspension travel, this is how this motorcycle should have been from factory. Great product and very satisfied with its results. |

wow what a difference
with this part,if u lightly press the brake peddle the rear brake only engage.at slowing for stoplights and in slow heavy traffic this is a big plus.. also on gravel and dirt roads, the fear of the front wheel sliding go way down.. my "no not stock parts on my bike" riding buddy has them also. |

High quality effective part
When I received the Anti Dive Fork Valve Shim I must admit,I was skeptical. The install was easy. I took my F6B out for a 20 mile ride. I rode on the road that I experienced bone jarring vibrations through the handlebars when I hit bumps prior to the install. I was amazed when those vibrations were almost totally eliminated. I have now put on another 750 plus miles in the last week and am glad I installed the shim. This is another great product from a great company. |

Smoother ride GL with sidecar
I ride a 02 GL with a Hannigan sidecar this puts a lot of additional weight on the bike.I have the easy steer triple tree with a complete fork rebuild. My ride was so stiff, I hated to even come close to a manhole cover. The jar was very shocking. (I'm 70, the older you get the more intense is the shock). I decided to try the Anti-Dive Fork Shim. It took about 10-15 mins. to install. Then I went looking for the Manhole covers and anything else that would go "Thud". After crossing the 1st cover, I thought I had missed it. There was no "Thud". The forks absorbed the shock. I thought maybe I had grown use to the thud, so I was ever so vigilant for the next cover. I aimed straight for it, and waited for the dreaded "Thud", again the front end did as it should and absorbed the shock. Wow, I thought, this is the way a big bike should ride, smooth and absorbing the highway and making a very pleasant ride. I have several friends with GL trikes and they all complain of the dreaded manhole covers and anything else that causes that "stiff bone jarring jolt". After I told them about my experience, they ordered theirs. I highly recommend to the altered bike riders, Trikes. |

Nothing Major (2012)
Easy install, no oil lost. I did not notice any real changes in the ride. Still have it installed on the bike. |
