G709 front tire
I think the G709 is the best front tire you can get for the wing if you love the curvy roads. Yes others are cheaper and some last longer but overall they have very good grip dry or wet and they don't sing in the corners the way E3's do or cup like some of the others. |

Hands down the best
The original bridgestone for the GL1800 were terrible. Too soft. Now with the redesign they much better. Smoother and better ride than Dunlop and better in the rain. |

Bridgestone GL1800
This is my Second Bridgestone for the GL1800. I managed to get 14,000 miles on the first one. I was pleased with the way it gripped the road especially having ridden through a variety of dry-wet-icy conditions. I recommend Bridgestone tires for the GL1800. Keep the correct operating tire pressure for handling and safety. |

The best Tire I have used for my wing
this brand is the best tires ever for my goldwing. I ride hard in the windy mountains and in the wet rainy road. these tires handles extremely well in these conditions. I went to two sets already it never failed me yet and each sets last for 17 K plus miles, 5 to 6 K more than Dunlap Elite brand. A basic motorcycle 101 chore every time I get on a motorbike out on to the open road is to check the tire pressure of both tires every single time. Its a good thing for safety and it keeps the tires last for its projected wear milage. Low tire pressure alway always cuffs the tires and damages it every time - guaranteed. |

Not the right tires for me.
I have an 02 ABS. I purchased the bike about 2 1/2 years ago. It came with pretty new Bridgestone tires. About a year and change later the rear tire chords delaminated and caused a thump thump. I attributed it to not checking the psi and running on lower than optimum pressure. I replaced it with a new rear stone. 5 K later the rear delaminated again. This time I had checked the pressure every time I rode. No trouble with the front stones. I am however through with stones, Went to Dunlop E3 We will see. We ride 2 up and mostly on mountain roads. |

18,000 miles. Time to renew.
I'm staying with the G709. Even at 18,000 miles it is still " road worthy " and wear is pretty even compared to the others I have had. I can feel the front end wobble a bit more so that's my cue to start over again. |

Great wearability
Just replaced my first set of Bridgestones with a new set. After putting 16,800 in 8 months on the first set, I couldn't be happier. I've tried most brands and these handle as good or better than any other, and, the rear lasted 3500 more miles than any other rear I've ever had. |

very good tire
well here's the update.I got 14,648 miles out of the rear tire. It is a very nice tire, put on a front tire and got 10,000 plus before a piece of metal got to it.I'll never go back to the E3'S again.Really impressed with them.Even with dino beads that worked very good.Happy Riding |

Tire Balance
I love my G704/G709R Bridgestone tires. Shops don't tell you to put the DOT on the tire to the balance mark on the wheel. Some shops don't know this. I have a 2007 and the DOT on the tire goes to the valve stem. 09 up goes to the mark on the wheel. No weights on front or rear. No tire problems 15000 miles on front and rear. I always change both tires. these tires were made for the Goldwing. Now I do run 41 front and 42 Rear. Tire wear is much better then 36/41. Check your pressures it pays in more mileage. |

Tire Wobble
With buying my bike new I want to take as good of care that is possible so when my first set of tires where worn out I put the factory choice back on and was really upset with my dealer for screwing something up because it didn't wobble with the first set of tires, so after reading about these bridgestones I tried a set and still had the problem. After talking to the tire reps at wing ding and others in our chapter I knew that the bearings and fork brace wasnt for me.The problem is in the spinning mas ( the tire and wheel ) On a car they balance both sides of the rim not one wheight in the middle so with that in mind the centra matic seemed like the best shot for me. Im so glad that I didnt waste my hard earned money on yet another snake oil toy for my bike that has no affect on the problem. Now my bike goes straight and true.( Why cannt Honda see this and fix it to make there customers happy?) Fremont,Ohio |
