Been riding since I was 16 (now 53) and ridden on allot of different tires and bikes. I get 9 - 10K out of a set of road tires. On my current bike, an 05 wing, I went through 2 sets of Dunlop's which were OK overall, but like a pig on ice in the rain. Next came the Metzeler ME880's, good all around tire and cant really say anything bad except.............the infamous "wing wobble" showed up the day they went on the bike, AND they cupped at about 3K. Nuff said. Now have the Bridgestone's on. I'm a peg dragger, so really appreciate the way these stick to the road. They have been very steady on gravel and steel bridge decks. They are smooth, and transition quickly from side to side on concrete and asphalt. Its still early riding season here in Minnesota so we have to see how they act in temps above 45º. So far, Bridgestone's are Highly recommended for the wing ! |

My brothers tell my I am an aggressive rider, I don't think I am but I am hard pressed to get more than 10 k miles out of my tires. These seem to hold up as well as any and the price is far better than most. |

These tires came on my bike. I did like them a lot when it came to grip and performace. But, they made a lot of noise when at lean. A humming noise. I got used to it. I took them off today with 15600 miles on them. They were toast!!! Look like my track tires now. Treadless.. I should have taken them off at 13000. |

I'm on my 5th rear and 3rd front I just placed another order for the next set. I never had a tire related issue with the Stones. The Traxxion suspention, Kuryakyn fork brace and a good tire equals no wobble. The best part is the front tire wares so well it never cups. When the rear starts to growl a bit in the twilight of its life, turn up the radio |

After getting a whopping 9k miles out of my E3's, I decided to try something different. I'm very impressed. Heck, my wife is even impressed! Very noticable smoothness and lighter steering compared to the E3's. I went with the 70-series rear. It's nice having a correct speedo. Lower gears are much more usable. This review is based on 2k miles of use. I sure hope they go the distance. |

Follow-up on previous review. I have over 12,000 miles now and have enjoyed these tires the whole time. Yes, I have some cupping, but so does my friend's Dunlops E3's. We bought our 1800's the same day and ride a lot together, but his came with Dunlops. When the cupping got bad enough, the wobble showed up, but only when I take both hands off the bars; not something I do often. Turns out the 1800 has a cheap front end, with suspension on one side and an anti-dive on the other. Replacing the fork is the answer, but I don't have the grand it takes to upgrade. So, for now I will replace my stones with new stones, put up with the minor annoyance, and enjoy the bike as is. For what it's worth, my buddy is replacing his Dunlops with new Dunlops. He really likes his tires, too. |

Got them about 1500 miles ago and I love them. They stick like glue and make the ride more easy (Sound and comfort). Glad I switched! Had the Dunlop’s first and the noise was riding me crazy! I believe this was a good investment. |

Going on the 2nd tire for the rear. Great tires! Front tire is wearing like iron so far and appears that it is going to outlast the rear about 2:1. Got over 10K out of the 1st Bridgestone rear and most of that was two-up, loaded, pulling a trailer in hot sticky Louisiana summer weather. Also fabulous rain/wet road tires...and they make my Wing handle great. I love em!!! |

I am on my 3rd set of stones and I personally love them. Very smooth ride, good grip and durable. Much better than the OEM Dunlops in my opinion. |

I just had these removed after 4 months and 6,000 miles (new '07 GL1800 purchased in July). I had a horrible wobble at 37-44mph and vibration at highway speeds. The rear was replaced due to flattening and the front was replaced due to cupping. I check my tire pressure once a month or if I feel they are off. Today is day 1 of the Metzlers. The dealer recommended 42 psi filled with nitrogen front and rear. I'm going to give it a try. After a few thousand miles I'll post my feedback on the Metzler tire review area. I paid a lot more at Rick Case Honda than here for tires. My Metzler rear was $220.95 and the front was $172.95. If I wasn't in a bind I would have saved over $70.00. |

I have run Avon, Bridgestone and Metzler tires on this 1800. For the money, the Bridgestone are Great tires. They seem to last as long as the other, they cost less and they are soft enough to grip the road very well. I pull a trailer over 60% of the time with mine (about 700 lbs) They wear like the more expensive ones. |
