These were very easy to install. They fit nice and do a good job of stablizing the bike in strong winds. Haven't decided on the lowers yet. |
We got a set of these when we bought the bike new in '06. Wanted them to make the ride more comfortable for my wife. She rates them a four stars 'cause she wanted the pad as big as her chair at home. I rated as 5 stars because they are sturdy and a fairly simple install. As one of the other raters noted threading the bolts into the seat is a little tricky but do-able. His suggestion of getting longer bolts and filing off the end of the threads makes sense. |
would be 5 stars if the unit had decent directions. Top and bottom LED's can be wired as tail lights and stop lights - together or separately. Requires notching of the license plate to accommodate the wires. 3 wires per light row - low intensity, high intensity and ground (red, white & black). Functions well and lights are very bright. |
arm design places the arm rest pads too far forward, which makes the appearance unattractive without a high front seat back. Strong mount design using seat bolts to frame. |
A must have. I installed these and just love them. So many different adjustments can be made for that perfect fit. The heel rest is a great addition. Just flip it down for that comfort level, no worries of the heel of your foot dragging. |
Great backrest. I feel great after a ride having the support on the back. I have it adjusted to the middle setting and still the wife has plenty of room in the back. Installation is a little tricky. Take your time so you do not mess up the paint job. Cover the painted surfaces of the bike before installing. |
Awesome product. I take a can with me on trips to give the ride a nice clean-up. Great for taking of road debris and bugs off. Does not leave any residue on the bike after cleaning. Works on all parts of the bike. The only cleaner I will use. |
A must have if you have an iPod. We use it all the time when traveling to either run the iPod or to charge up the cell phone. I run my iPod out of the left pocket and have it attached to the lid with Velcro. Works like a charm. Also a good power source for the small air compressor. |
Great addition to the bike. The wife just has to have something to drink while sitting back and relaxing on a ride. We bought a very nice hot/cold drink mug that fits perfect for her. |
I just bought the wigwag and can't find anyone locally who will show me how to connect it. Can't figure out which is the brake wire. Don't want to disconnect the wrong wire and can't really understand the instructions. I love added all the knick knack to the bike, but some things I can't do. Could someone show me where the brake wire is. 2006 Honda Goldwing. Ree |
This has got to be my absolute favorite upgrade so far, Its so nice to have a drink for the long trips. The mounting was very easy. The insulation keeps drinks cold for a long time in the heat. I would recomend this to anyone the drive more than 30 mins in the blazing heat. |
GL1800 fit was almost perfect. The additional top mounting screws were just what the doctor ordered for the additional accessories. The battery came charged and ready to go. Nice Job Guys! This is a lot better then the stock battery! |
