A must have. I installed these and just love them. So many different adjustments can be made for that perfect fit. The heel rest is a great addition. Just flip it down for that comfort level, no worries of the heel of your foot dragging. |
Great backrest. I feel great after a ride having the support on the back. I have it adjusted to the middle setting and still the wife has plenty of room in the back. Installation is a little tricky. Take your time so you do not mess up the paint job. Cover the painted surfaces of the bike before installing. |
Awesome product. I take a can with me on trips to give the ride a nice clean-up. Great for taking of road debris and bugs off. Does not leave any residue on the bike after cleaning. Works on all parts of the bike. The only cleaner I will use. |
A must have if you have an iPod. We use it all the time when traveling to either run the iPod or to charge up the cell phone. I run my iPod out of the left pocket and have it attached to the lid with Velcro. Works like a charm. Also a good power source for the small air compressor. |
Great addition to the bike. The wife just has to have something to drink while sitting back and relaxing on a ride. We bought a very nice hot/cold drink mug that fits perfect for her. |
I just bought the wigwag and can't find anyone locally who will show me how to connect it. Can't figure out which is the brake wire. Don't want to disconnect the wrong wire and can't really understand the instructions. I love added all the knick knack to the bike, but some things I can't do. Could someone show me where the brake wire is. 2006 Honda Goldwing. Ree |
This has got to be my absolute favorite upgrade so far, Its so nice to have a drink for the long trips. The mounting was very easy. The insulation keeps drinks cold for a long time in the heat. I would recomend this to anyone the drive more than 30 mins in the blazing heat. |
GL1800 fit was almost perfect. The additional top mounting screws were just what the doctor ordered for the additional accessories. The battery came charged and ready to go. Nice Job Guys! This is a lot better then the stock battery! |
Hitch works great was pretty easy to install. The instructions definetly stink, if you are fairly mechnicaly inclined like myself I dont think you will have a problem, but if not, sounds like the thing to do is to get CWOLAW's instructions. Hardest part for me was slipping the top part of the hitch under the cross bar, between the saddle bag and the bar. Other than that fully satisfied with this hitch, saved a lot of money! |
Looks great, was easy to install, used the star washers, which required getting longer bolts. Mine DID come with the flag pole tabs. While I did the install by myself, I would recommend extra set of hands to hold the rack in place while you trace circles around the legs of the rack onto the masking tape, my rack kept wanting to slide around while I was tracing. So i justed used a little more tape to temp hold the rack in place. |
Either I got very lucky and got it right the first time or it is actually very easy to install. I took about 5 minutes to watch the Steve Saunders video and that made it very easy to understand the instructions. I got the backrest today and installed it within an hour. After taking a short ride, I can see that I am going to love this backrest. Cutting into a brand new seat wasn't so bad after all. P.S. Make sure you have a 9/32 drill bit handy. |
Without a doubt the best accessory that can be added to a GL1800 to control wind for both the driver and passenger. Not only are these great on cool days but when the heat rises you open these up and the effect is amazing. These are a must have accessory. |
