| I purchased these in addition to EC's fog light kit. Since I was going to remove the plastics for the fog light switch I figured this would be the time install these. LOVE THEM. Installation is a snap assuming you are tearing off your plastics anyway, because plastics removal/re-installation is a pain, but drilling these out and wiring is easy. No brackets required. Some complain about lack of instructions; there's a dummy plug just underneath the mirrors where your wires will snap into and will work with the center ON/OFF switch to illuminate as you approach. They are very bright and allow you to see all around the sides of your bike. finished installation looks good too. Excellent quality kit. --if you give 1 star because of missing documentation/installation instructions; then you are NOT giving the product itself any justice. I used a 19mm hole saw and got perfect fitment. Look up Max McAllister from Traxxion Dynamics as he does the Honda lights WITH brackets and you'll know what to do with these. |
| Very comfortable and easy to install seat. Better height adjustment than Honda's backrest. I had one on my 2003 Honda Goldwing and loved it. Installed this one on my 2018 Honda Goldwing DCT Tour and it feels great. |
| I got handlebar wobble when I would release the handlebars or reduce handlebar grip. It got increasingly bad. Also I noticed a groan noise during turns. This was due to tire cupping as a result of unbalanced tires. I had new tires installed and Centramatic balancers. NO MORE WOBBLE! Smooth as silk! I'm glad I did it. |
| I have used Counteract Balancing Beads in my tires and they work great, very high quality product and worth the money. I own a 2018 Yamaha Star Venture Transcontinental and the Bridgestone G852 and G853 tires went 17,862 miles before I just replaced them. The Counteract Balance Beads kept the tires in balance from the beginning to the end of the tires life. I highly recommend Counteract Balance beads from personal use and excellent results. The Yamaha Star Venture Transcontinental uses the same size tires as the 2018 and newer Honda GoldWing. |
| I would give it 5 stars but the instruction were all in black and white when references wire color which made it more difficult to understand. Suggest putting instructions for wire to be color coded. |
