Fit well, looks good. Well manufactured, chrome plating looks good. The pin is s little sloppy in the hole causing a rattle, but i replaced it with a stainless steel bolt and nut which stopped that. All in all well pleased.
No brainer. Easy install. Well manufactured looks good.
It is a simple upgrade from the naked ball. Looks much better having it covered up. But, the foam was so tight when I tried to place it over the ball it snapped apart. I have a piece of tape holding it in place to keep the cover from falling off.
After my 1st long distance ride of this season my back was killing me. I've seen review after review about how good a backrest is in general, let alone how many positive ratings the Utopia has gotten. Having come to terms with my age and back, I finally purchased this backrest. Following Cruiseman's video on installation I had it installed in about 30 mins and took it out for a quick test ride and adjustment. I didn't want to stop riding. The difference is night and day. The best feeling was having my feet out on my Rivco hiway pegs and feeling planted in my seat. No movement or sliding or shifting. Absolutely amazing. If you are on the edge over getting a backrest, it means it's time to get one and I'd 100% recommend this Utopia.
Bags fit well, and are well made, very good product at a very good price, will work well on my 2018 gold wing tour.
great idea, werx well when installed but had to file and cut to fit . length was too long, angles cut incorrectly and for the liner, I had to trim the entire bottom to fit. its a start and customer will complete it to fit their Goldwing topcase. it does save space and paperwork , maps, flashlite etc will not roll around in there. still got room for 1 lid !
Installation was easier than expected. Don't have a lift. Worked on the flat ground with the bike on the center stand. Recommend watching a YouTube video before installation. Front wheel was easy. Rear was a bit challenging without a lift. I just removed all 5 wheel nuts, removed wheel off the shaft, installed the balancer through that tight space, and reassembled the wheel. Riding is much smoother. My primary concern was to keep tires from uneven wear, coz I had to change my first set of tires when treads were still deep enough.
Its perfect t for metric Motorcycle , has everything for most emergencies and roadside repair compact all in one little kit.
Easy to install after watching the video. The only challenge is cutting the plastic cover. But it was fun. Wish I could bring it even closer, though.
So I'm not one for reviews, but I felt I had to right something in regard to theses balancers. I bought my 2016 gl1800 as a leftover at the end of 2017 with 0.06 of a mile on it. After a wile of riding this bike I was getting a lot of road noise from the frontend arm fatigue (numbness) and back pain, so I assumed it was just the factory tires and after 5000 miles i replaced them with the Avon's rated for this bike, what a mistake that was 3000 miles and the rear tire was no good. So now I have 8 to9 thousand miles on this bike and been though two sets for tire's, at this point I'm ready to get rid of this bike.Well, I liked the bike so much I thought I would give it one more chance. So, I bought the Centramatic Wheel Balancers the full set, and a pair of the Dunlop E4's. I had all the weights removed and the tires in stalled by a pro. Now, after riding on the E4s and balancers for well over 6000 miles i now have NO arm fatigue a quitter front end, and NO back pain and the tires look like i just put then on. I have to say I now look forward to getting on this bike and going for ride. I want to end this with a big THANK YOU to people who make the Centramatic wheell balancers and to Dunlop for the E4sTRULY THE BEST THING's I BOUGHT FOR THIS BIKE !!! WELL DONE!
Rode 300 miles yesterday and my 66 year-old back is quite happy. Visually it’s a little larger than I expected but works great. It fits great and was easy to install but the instructions were a little sparse. Cruiseman’s video helped a lot. It takes tools to adjust it but I found an old open-end wrench and Allen wrench and tossed them in the storage bag. Excellent addition to the Wing!
My 2018 DCT Tour was equipped with these when I picked it up in 2018. I had almost 10,000 miles on them when they were removed and still had miles left but I was going for road a trip. The feel of these feels constant throughout the life of the tire and they stick like glue wet or dry.
