| Made a big difference! Like many others have said, I would have shoulder pain after thirty to forty minutes of riding. It didn't happen with my VTX. I bought these because I had some Wing Stuff points about to expire. Was a little concerned that the claimed 1.5 inch height rise wouldn't make that much difference. Those concerns were gone after the first two minutes of riding after the simple install. I'm 6'1 and these are the perfect height for me. If you're thinking about it, just do it. You'll be happy you did! |
| The hardware included to mount the wings was terrible. The Molly Jack Nuts were so tight with the screws they would only turn in the holes and not tighten. Also the picture is misleading as you only receive the lower air wings yet in the picture it is also showing an upper wing. Lastly the lower wings are attached to a very think piece of plastic that snaps into place with only one screw actually holding the plastic on. |
| Holy cow!! What a difference the Utopia backrest has made! Before I had the backrest, a half hour ride and my middle back would start to hurt. I installed the backrest (easy) and did a 200 mile ride the next day with no pain!! |
| Installation was pretty straightforward. There are a couple install videos on YouTube that help. Chris Caliente and Cruiseman show some helpful tips that aren’t as easily caught on the provided instructions. Cutting the foam with a serrated knife took longest due to being super-cautious. Need to point the knife blade towards the left side of the bike to avoid heated seat wires. Once done and a couple of adjustments during my first ride and this thing is awesome! I’d recommend it. |
| Beautiful items, simple but work amazingly well. I had the the older large cup and holder and this is far and away a better design. Get a perch for both sides and a smart phone holder! |
| As always lowest price and quick delivery. OEM tire with great performance until about 8k miles and then you get the wobbles with slow deceleration. No obvious cupping and always proper inflation. Still recommend. |
| Does not lay flat across engine. Paint was peeling on one end. I had to cut out a section to fit around Comfort Bar bolt head on both sides. I will repaint this myself and do some bending on it to lay flat. |
