I'm not a "chrome" guy but when I saw these on another wing I HAD to get them. Easy to install, look outstanding, give the engine an extra "oomph" look. |
Looks great, easy to install, covers that ugly grey frame rail. The rubber inserts look the best of all the other similar boomerang covers and breaks up the chrome in a classy way. Just a bit difficult to clean between the rubber is all. |
Fits perfectly, simple to install and finishes off the bland hole up front with that extra splash of chrome, a must have additon that isn't expensive. |
The hitch is made really pretty good, the instuctions leave a lot to be desired. Pretty easy to install. Ball is a little close to the fender so you really have to be careful not to ding the fender. |
Great for deflecting air away from and towards the driver area. Easy installation (about 10 minutes total). May want to use several pieces of masking tape over mirror fixture and front of mirror so it won't fall out after removing the set screw. If you break the mirror it will cost you $160 to replace since Honda only sells the mirror and fixture together (I speak from experience). Go figure. Also, you may want to use some locktite on the threads before screwing into the mirror fixture. This will help prevent the threads from unscrewing from the mirror as you repeatedly adjust the wind wing. |
Great addition to the bike and easy to install. The template provided with the instructions makes it easy to drill the holes in the right place. You just need to make sure to use the right templates for each the left and right side moldings. After drilling the holes, I had it mounted in about ten minutes. Directs air in warm weather to driver for a dramatic cooling effect. In the cool of the evenings use them to keep air off of you. |
The installation took some doing, but the results were worth the work. I only hooked up the trunk lights. Wanted the lower brake lights to operate normally. Easiest to remove tail lights on trunk and make connections at connector on outer lights (both left and right). Green wire w/red stripe is brake wire. Other green wire is ground. Brown wire is hot for running lights. Mounted module in trunk (rear right). Pretty clean installation, but tight fit. Even added a small switch to easily change between the two operating modes. |
What can I say? These are a great addition to the back of the bike. One friend said it resembles an expensive luxury car. Looks great on or off. |
Great and easy fix for us shorter (and shorter armed) riders. The small adjustment doesn't change the function of the bike, but makes a big difference in arm and back comfort. |
Definitely worth the purchase. I ride all year round, in town and on the road. These create a larger pocket not only for me, but for my wife in the passenger seat (she doesn't feel the air buffeting she used to). In addition, you can adjust the bottom to blow more of the warmer engine-heated air on to your legs (*really* made a difference going over the grapevine in sub 30 degrees). |
Useful if you change altenator |
Need constant 'adjustment' and have become a pain in the butt. Would NOT purchase again. Can I get a refund? Side note -- the flags like to wrop themselves AROUND both the flagpole AND the ant. causing me to keep an eye on them in the mirrors and reach back and fix it while attempting to drive down the rode. Very unsafe for me and if left unchecked, looks very bad flying flags that wave wrapped themselves around 3 or 4 times. |
