another great kury product. takes a little getting used to. really comfotable.
looks great and easy to install. the bit in the istallation instructions about the wood block, good advice...saved me a tire!!
kuryakyn at their best!! The covers really put some "wow" on the engine. they will really look great with the gold trim cyl head piece.
Easy install and a nice touch to the front of the bike.
Did my first oil change and used this tool. Did not have to remove the lower cowl like the book said. Well worth the money.
I have not purchased this product yet. Will it interfere in any way with trailer light connections? Are there bulbs that are compatible with the trunk bulbs that will shine brighter?
Sehr gutes robustes Kabel.
I received this Kuryakyn Chrome Wide Kickstand on 5-12-08 and installed it after work at about 1230 am on 5-13-08. It took me all of 10 minutes to install it. The secret came from one of our Wingstuff members, after unbolting the original kickstand, slide it out of position with swing still attached. Take the new Chrome Wide Kickstand in hand, remove the old kickstand from spring and replace the new kickstand in it's place on the spring and place the new Kickstand in the socket of the mount. Replace the holding screw in bolt in large hole of the mounting bracket, put the locking nut back on the bolt, then replace the sensing wire bolt back over the top of the holding bracket bolt and enjoy your new Kuryakyn Chrome Wide Kickstand. It looks beautiful and is three times the size of the factory kickstand and it fits well with the added Kuryakyn driver floorboard. Good job Kuryakyn and good product.
Easy install. Works and looks great! Less buffetting on the freeway rides now. A great fit!
How True...A Lot of work for such a simple item. Once installed, I was impressed with the look. Now, after riding for a while, I see that the lower mounting areas have both broken off. If you look through the lower slots, the eyelet that the bolt goes through is all broken up. Why would you attatch a fixed object to brake calipers that "Float" (move) with braking. Unless I installed them terribly wrong, it does not make sense. Still have them on though. Rattle over every bump.
Fit is excellent! Good chrome, rubber is non-slip. Wife loves having the second position for her feet, and they make it a much nicer ride for the grandkids as well!
