Received very quickly. Yeah, instructions leave a lot to be desired. I read instructions and printed CHOLAW's out. I took my time making sure fitment was right. Had a little trouble lining up the front right side bar to the saddlebag mount. Looks great, seems very strong. If I had to install a second one it could be done very quickly. Don't get psyched out by the negative comments regarding installation. Just take your time, don't force anything, be careful not to cross thread the bolts in the aluminum. I'm pleased with the product and installation.

Iso-Grip Set w/Chrome Accent Ring
ITEM CODE: KU6180,   SKU: KU6180

If your Goldwing has heated grips these are not for your bike. Nothing in the "hype" for these grips mentions that. It should be explained to all potential buyers.

I had these for four months now. Went on a trip to maine and half way there one of the brackets broke by just hitting a bump in the road not a big bump. Also a friend was with me on his Gold wing and one of the breckets also borke. Had to bye more on the road to finish out the trip. We did not buy Kuryakyn again. So take it as it's worth for yourself.

Acceptable chrome quality, nice usable design and shape, however there was an inexcusable quality problem with mine.

As you would expect, the foot on each leg is cut at an angle to match the contour of the GL1800 trunk lid. One of these legs was welded on to the main rack with the angled foot incorrectly oriented by at least 90 degrees. That leg therefore rested on the pointed side of the angled foot and not flush with the lid.

Additionally, if you look at the product pictures you will notice that it appears the legs are probably touching the spoiler. If don't want these 2 parts touching, moving the rack forward just a little will result the front part of the rack (sharp corners) to poke into the passenger backrest. This might or might not prove to be a problem over time.

Returned and will not try another one.

Black Ride Off Center Stand for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CJ1800BL,   SKU: CJ1800BL

I purchased this stand and had it installed while attending Wing Ding 30 in Greenville, SC today (3 July 2008). Given the other comments regarding installation posted here on WingStuff.com I'm glad I did have it installed. The actual installation didn't look complicated, but the use of a motorcycle jack instead of the side stand (as recommended in the installation instructions) made it easier. Like others have said, once you get the hang of it (which happens after a couple of uses) it really is a pleasure to use. I especially like the "ride off" capability. I highly recommend this product.

I had a set of Hand Wings installed by the nice folks of Baker Built Air Wings, Inc. while attending Wing Ding 30 in Greenville, SC today (3 July 2008). Although done by the Baker crew, installation took less than 5 minutes (but it did look easy) and they look great. They also work great too! It was 95 degrees on the way home and the wings really helped by directing air onto my hands. This is an excellent product.

Put one on 18 months ago. As others have said I do not really notice any difference but hope I never have to go through all the time and effort again. Fortunately I have a maintenance manual that told me how to get to it. It is time consuming.

ISO-Grips for use w/OEM Heated Grips for GL1800

Just got them and the install was a little difficult. I had read osnider comments about the dog leash to snap them together. I used a short piece of rope that really did the trick in getting them to snap together. (Thanks for the hint.) Had only ridden around the block but do like the bigger feel to the grip. Throttle seems to stick a bit when not open very far. May have to loosen the right grip a bit. Do look great compared to the stock grip appearance.

Just received it and an easy install on the Kuryakyn trailer hitch. Looks like it should work well to carry a cooler or small package. Quality looks good and I expect it to stand up to use well. I am happy with purchase.
