Looks good! Easy to install but take your time and get it right.
Have this, but never used on my bike. My boys and I pump up our bicycles with it though and it is incredible.
Don't yet know about the durability, but can vouch that these are some of the most frustrating pieces to add to your bike. I normally love everything Kuryakyn makes, but go for the boards. These aren't as adjustable as they make them out to be. Kuryakyn tried to make a good product here, but swung and miss. Also this is the only 1 star I have ever given any product. I have never gone below 3, but this one deserves it. No reflection on Wingstuff though, these guys are awesome.

Good looking and high quality product, and lover operation after installed. BUT, NAV / Comfort Package owners beware!!! This product is designed to house three large rubber covered fuses just above the igintion, and under the cover. Little to no room in this area with NAV / Comfort package. Was able to squeeze all this into this area with some tie wraps, and 25 year of engineering background. Would not recommend for everyone... TF |
Very easy to install and works great
Piece does not fit the curvature of the rear fender. Original adhesive tape on chrome trim did not hold despite carefully following installation instructions. Had to apply silicone adhesive and clamp for 72 hours to get it to stick.
I like baker built airwings. They are functional and do a fair job of directing wind away or towards you as the temperature calls for. These are not quite as effective at the baker wings on my 1500 but based on how they are located on the bike they work ok. It certainly is better with them than without them. The lower wing does its job to keep the hot air from the radiator off your leg. I haven't ridden in the winter yet so I cant say if they give you any additional heat when its cold out. Note: These wings don't suffer from the turning problems that the hand wings have. I've only had to adjust the right side wing once since I installed them. I highly recommend that you use a drill press to drill the 4 holes you will need in your fairing trim strips. It will give you an accurate and workable installation. The only gripe I have is that the edge of the fairing pocket doors rub on the top edge of the chrome frame of the wing ( right where the upper green arrow is on the picture for this product review) It seems to me that this could have been avoided with a little careful engineering to the product when Honda changed the attachment method of the fairing pocket doors in 2006.

Installed easy per instructions. Stock bolts seem so long, takes forever to get out. Works great, reverse is easy to put on stand. Also so much easier to do by hand. Then just ride off. |
Awesome addition for my mp3, amazingly easy to install. Engine noise is unnoticeable.
Love em, cant imagine riding without them. The inside of the hex bolts are starting to rust, other than that I think they are great.
The coating on the windshield is great. Cleans easily and no scratches. It does have a rainbow appearance on the front when viewed from the front, however it looks fine when looking thorugh it. THe vent fit and works great with no noise. The velcro padding strip supplied for the back of the dash began sliding up the first day. Had to replace with camper tape after much work removing the adhesive from the supplied pad. I would recommend not using this pad.
I have a 2002 Goldwing and have had the Dunlops and Bridgestones that gave up at 4-5000 miles due to cupping and the inherent noise then. I have had the Metzelers ME880 for 6500 miles and are still like new in performance, noise and tread. These are a great tire. I have 40 years of racing and riding experience with 15 years on Goldwings. PS I have never the "Goldwing Wobble".
