Ditto to all that have gone before. Very simple to fit. They really add something to that area of the bike without being overboard. You will not be disappointed with these.
Quite a snug fit, but as others have said a bit of adhesive means these suckers are going no where. They just add a bit of bling to the bar area. Nice.
Great filter. Gets rid of the rubbish Honda product and the thin rubber gasket. This comes pre-oiled and fits like a glove. Getting to the filter is another matter entirely. This change takes hours. Definately get a manual and take a look at Steve Saunders website Goldwingfacts as he has got a nice video showing the main points of removing all that body work and electrics.
Look good and protect those expensive lights. Definately take your time and remember to measure twice and cut once. I used the rubber washers to make the 5mm clearance gap before marking the holes for drilling.
Just the job for simple filter changes and great price to.

Good looking piece...IF the chrome holds out. It does protect the front of the engine very well. Installation tips....Put the bike on the center stand, and install the sticky pad on the extension. From the front of the bike looking back, reach one hand on each side and tip the top edge out. You can see both sides pretty easy by moving your head side to side and align the extension on both sides while pulling the piece up to the stops (see instructions). When it looks and feels straight, push the top into the fender and push in on the sticky pad at all points until it's stuck good. Push the sides in and drill through the holes in the extension and the fender. Install the rubber piece between the extension and the fender, then the metal piece and start the nut and tighten. The nut is a self locking type and I'd suggest not tightening it much past snug. Some people have talked about fender cracking and it was probably from over tightening. Good luck. |
This is a great helmet bag. My helmets have been custom painted so I needed more protection. Full face fits great, 3/4 has room for second shield.
This added so much to the looks of our trike and the installation was a breeze.
Great pegs. Makes long trips much more comfortable, able to streach out. Nice range of adjustment angles also.
Great feel. During hot summer grips are still cool. I have big hands and this grip sure makes things more comfortable

I had one of these for my 1500 back in the 1990's. I did test it out once and was very happy with the results. The key difference between this set and a standard automotive tire plugger you get for $10 at walmart is that this set doesn't use a sticky foam plug like the automotive sets. As the sticky plugs age, they loose their stickiness. This set uses a real rubber plug that is stretched and then allowed to snap back into position in the hole. If you can fix a flat on the road, this is probably the best way to do it. I hate the fix-i-flat and green slime. They really mess up your rim and the inside of your tire. Keep in mind this kit (and any plug kit) only works on tubeless tires. If you have the old style spoke wheels, you have a tube inside and this kit won't help you. |
