| These floorboards really look good and are great for traveling. They do force you to put your foot down a little farther out than you might ordinarily when you stop. Also, the sidestand is inaccessable until it is flipped up. Overall, they are worth the downside by providing comfort and protection while riding which is what you will be doing most of the time anyway. |

It was an ... easy install on my 2008... after I had noticed that the markings didn't work, looking into the trunk I've found on the left and right side, three (x2) little markings. After measuering out, they were an exact match for the spoiler. Drilled the holes - excellent fit!! |

| Easy to put on. I covered it in velcro so I can mount different items on it easily (cell phone, GPS, etc.). I gave it four stars because the bolts that came with it started to rust pretty soon after installation. Other than that, a good product. |

| Nice chromed steel pieces. You will probably have to massage them gently to get a good fit. Take your time and do it right. Inner unit shouold be as close to the edge of the saddle bag door as possible so that side cover can be easily removed. |
| Nice to look at versus stock grey intall in about 1/2 hour. One star off due to holes not being perfectly aligned to frame holes. Kuryakyn seems to have a small problem with this. Just take your time and start all bolt before tightening. |
| Nice light weight design but fabrication and chroming left a little to be desired. One leg was 1/16" shorter than the rest and there is noticeable chrome discolouration on two legs. (Extensions cover the discolouration fortunately) Recommend you spend the extra and get the 5/8" extensions.otherwise cleaning under it will prove to be a bear. This rack would not have cleared my spoiler without them. Also, if you have the extensions, it is much easier to mark and drill the holes in alignment. I taped the extensions on the legs and set it down on the masked areas where the legs sit. after centering it, I took a pencil and drew around the base of the extension and removed the rack. Using one of the extensions as a drill guide, I drilled through the outer and inner lid for the rear holes and through the outer only for the front. The bit did not wander and the alignment between the inner and outer lid was perfect. I also used two star washers with rubbers on the underside as backups for the bolts. This will help to reinforce the trunk lid against failure.Remember to use the rubbers with adhesive applied to space between the inner and outer lid! |
