My right hand was always cramping up on the stock pencil grips. I installed these with a little help with some dishwashing soap. They were a snap to install and look great. Wow what a difference they make with just the right amount of chrome. They feel great with the soft rubber with or without gloves and no more cramping. These are a must on all Goldwings
These are nice heavy duty rest that adds chrome and a sleak look to your bike. Very nice for your better half and will give her a more sence of security. It doubles as a cup holder for you too! Just a squeese on the knee and you'll have a cool one passed up to ya. These were easy to install but after I had to tweek the inside brackets to lay flat against the back and bottom of the cubby compartment. I like the bullet hinge. It's pretty beefy with a nice finish. You have to get use to swinging them out of the way to get into the truck though. I give them a two thumbs up.
I use this when on the road. Quick and easy to put on. Well made.
It's only good for holding larger light objects. My experience has been that everything falls out of it whie riding. I've ordered a real organizor to replace it.
When I order this Wrench; I wanted something that was quick and easy to use. Well; It's just that! I do not leave home without it, seriously! I jsut love it. When I change my Oil; I remove the little "Trap Door" to the Belly Pan. Then all I do is just slip the Wrench over the Oil Filter and a couple of twist, the Oil Filter is off. You do not need to remove the front Cowling to get to the Oil Filter, that by itself is a time saver. And the price is NOT bad either. It will pay for itself on your first try. Really Nice Product.
I just got this in today and just finished putting it in abour 1 hour ago... It was easy but the template ws a little off, holes were too close together and I followed the instructions to the "T"... Was able to widen them a little and make it fit without the holes showing at all, that was a plus... I bought the GL1800 LED Trunk Spoiler Running Light Converter for $13.00 and put it on at the same time and Over all they work great and YOU WILL BE MORE VISIBLE on the road... I am so glad I got these!! Most important they look like manufacture installed....
Just got done installing this about 30 minutes ago... It was eay to install, but I did not get any directions for this product, so finding the loction to plug in for the running lights took me a little while to find not knowing where it was and I only had the bike for 2 months now... Works great and was easy to install... If you did not get your directions like me. You plug in right under the drivers seat next to the fuse box. I have a 2008 GL1800...
The best drink holder that I've found. Great on long hauls in the hot weather.
As they say, its a factory Honda filter with O rings, How can you go wrong? If your placing an order anyway why not pick up a filter too. Great price as usual.
Cool little reflectors. Adds some shine to the back end with a choice of color. I ordered the blue ones.
Great product. The previous owner of my Goldwing installed an aftermarket stereo and antenna. To install this one I had to splice into the antenna cable to make it long enough, but thats not the fault of the product. It was a perfect fit and works better than the one I had. I was not able to find one at a lower price anywhere on the net or in town. 84 GL1200

Received my Ergo Pegs yesterday and here are my thoughts an observations. The transaction with wingstuff.com was smooth and flawless with one minor exception. I did not receive an email with the shipment tracking information (i.e. airway bill number, USPS tracking number). I don't know about you, but if I spend money for a product in gives me a little comfort when I see tracking information showing that the package is on the way. Like I said it was minor, but if wingstuff.com could work that into the order process it would be great. Next, even without the tracking information my package arrived faster than I had expected. I ordered it on 9/14 and had it by 9/17. The box I received was as advertised and all components were packaged seperate in a clear hard plastic, form fitting, container. This was obviously to protect the chrome components from rubbing against each other. All the contents were there as expected. Being in the aviation industry I tend to inspect parts very carefully and this was no different. I noted no obvious defects in any of the parts. Installation was pretty much per the directions that came with it and took me about 45 minutes. People can probably do it faster, but I wanted to take my time and get the pegs set up exactly where I needed them. Once installed I could not believe how much better my legs felt being able to stretch them out. I am 5'9" with a 32" in-seam (at least that is what my blue jeans say)and I had no problems with rubbing against the fairings. All in all this was an excellent purchase/experience and just in time for my wife an I to take our ride tomorrow up to the Grand Canyon. Wingstuff.com did a good job and I could not be happier with the product. I'll give it the true test on our ride tomorrow and will also bring some tools along in case I need to fine tune the adjustments. |
