Vertical Trailer Hitch for GL1800 1st Gen
ITEM CODE: KU7642,   SKU: KU7642

Excellent hitch. Solid and easy to install. Buy this hitch. Don't settle for the cheaper version. This hitch installs solidly without lowering your pipes or otherwise disassembling your scooter.

Vertical Receiver Style Trailer Hitch for GL1800 1st Gen
ITEM CODE: AO451806,   SKU: AO451806

Do not buy this hitch! Buy this one https://wingstuff.com/pgroup_detail/272_Trailer_Hitches_Racks/128_Kuryakyn_GL1800_Vertical_Goldwing_Trailer_Hitch/?goto=%2Fpgroup_list%2Fgl1800%2F272_goldwing_Trailer_Hitches_Racks%2Fdes%2F%3Fpage%3D2 It took me 45 minutes to install the hitch and it is on there like a brick...well you know what I mean. One note, the directions are translated from Chineese. I was a Sailor and inboard means toward the center in the Navy. In Chinese it means toward the OUTSIDE. The trunion goes on the outboard side of the muffler support bracket. You will figure it out when you start to install them it is the only way it will work. Great solid trailer hitch! Lucky for me WINGSTUFF was out of the one I ordered and they cut me some slack on the price and shipped this one. This is worth every penny.

Kuryakyn Armrest w/ Drink Holder for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU8991,   SKU: KU8991

08.03.2008
I agree that one person CAN install this but I think I threw my colon out while trying it. I also was nervous about drilling holes in my scooter so I measured four or five times and drilled once. When I put the left armrest on the passenger intercom was in the way AFTER I had drilled the holes. It was an easy fix I just pulled the intercom holder out installed the armrest then put a dot bright green paint on the pegs that hold the intercom receptacle in place put the holder to the bike under the armrest and drilled two new 1/4 holes. Then I put a dab of marine adhesive in the hole and a dab on the back of the intercom holder put it on the bike and viola. It would be nice if kuryakyn would have mentioned this might be a problem. They look great and Sugarbritches (aka the wife)loves them! WINGSTUFF beat the competitions price by $50, that's almost a pair of rear speakers. I love this place!
