| After 5 Minutes using it, I don't know why this wasn't the first thing purchased for my Goldwing. I'm stupid I guess. Easy to install (About 30 min). I'm a small guy. I LOVE it, my body loves it, You need it. Any Questions? No--good, get it. |

| These are very sturdy pegs with solid, positive arm and peg rotation adjustment settings, not friction-based set-and-tighten. That's the upside. Downside is the arm can only be set every 45 degrees, which means the only positions below horizontal are -45 and -90 degrees, both unsafe when cornering. A slight downward tilt, like 22.5 degrees, would be great, but is not available. For those with long legs, the pegs are too close and too high, which means you must buy item KU4071, the mini-arms for Ergo II, another $50. Do it, it's worth it. BTW if you're considering item KU4071, the short pegs with friction setting -- which would save you $90 over the Ergo II + mini-arms -- don't bother. The right side peg slips under even mild foot pressure unless you use split lock washers and have it torqued down by a real gorilla. I'm 6'6", 335 lbs, and it took all my strength with a 15" breaker bar, plus Loctite, to get the 1/2" x 13 pivot bolt to stay put. Almost stripped the threads. And after all that, their location forces the fairing edge deep into your lower leg. I literally threw mine in the trash after 6 months of dissatisfaction. Get the Ergo II's instead. You'll be glad you did. |
| these look great on the faring and adds a nice touch.I chose these because i didn,t want to much chrome in that area of my goldwing.Not hard to install,you just to leave overnite for glue to dry. |
| These are cheaper than Kuryakyn, but they aren't worth owning. I just switched after six months of exasperation with these. They stay in place only through friction, and the right-side peg will loosen and drop down under foot pressure. This happened to me at 80 mph in the HOV lane of the I-405 in SoCal and about gave me heart failure. I went home, changed the crown washers to split washers, and retorqued the 1/2" x 13 peg bolts with a socket and breaker bar to the point of thread distortion -- and still had doubts. Even if you have long legs and require short peg arms, buy the more expensive Kurys and pony up the extra $47 for their short arms. Their positive pinned joints are far superior. The peace of mind is worth it. |
| A very sturdy, elegant product at an amazing price. I don't need, want, or want to pay for all that CNC flash. I bought this several months ago, have used it often since, and have no regrets at all. When soloing it carries my tent, sleeping bag, and pad, and when two-up it carries a large rack bag for jackets & rain gear. Don't overload it, the lid won't like it. Not the lid's fault -- you own a Gold Wing and Honda just makes everything on it as light as possible. You shouldn't have much weight up that high anyway. Installation requires care and thought, but it is simple enough if you position the rack and mark for drilling slowly and carefully. Note that you MUST remove the trunk lid liner to install the screws. Some people do try to drill through both and then wonder why the screws won't reach. I had no difficulty getting the screws adequately engaged with the threaded holes in the rack. |
| Another nice job with the chrome finish. Really dresses up the front without over doing it. Installation instructions where ease y to follow and right-on. |

| This is a warning NOT to attempt to fit these grips to GL1800 NON-heated grips. I was advised by a WingStuff salesperson that they would fit and I would not have to cut off the old grips. In fact they do NOT fit over the non-heated Honda grips, which have a larger diameter than the heated grips. Any attempt to fit these to a non-heated-grip bike will break the metal portions of the Kuryakyn grip. |
| Many of us buy them to get the order up to that magic "free shipping" level...but they look good. A little bling for a little cash. What's not to like?? |
| Looks good and seems better than stock. When all the way down, it basically moulds to the dash. I had a LOT of trouble getting the vent on because they don't finish the top edge of the cut out very well. That's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. |
