We are not very happy with these armrests. Two problems - one may not be solvable but the other is... It's just a pain in the you-know-where to have to remember to rotate these rests out of the way every time you want to raise the trunk lid. I knew this going in and thought I could deal with it but it's still an irritation every time. My wife complains about the padding on the rests - she has seen other co-riders rests that are quite plush, as in thick and soft padding. These pads are thin and hard. I asked Kury if there was an alternative upholstery that could be retrofitted - they looked at me like I had two heads, (I spoke to them directly at Daytona Bikeweek. |
| I could not believe how easy this was to install. It seems like every add-on for the Goldwing is usually lacking understandable instructions. 30 minute jobs take 3 hours. This one took about 45 minutes, part of which was spent triple checking myself before I drilled the holes in the lid. Besides the easy install, the spoiler looks great. I also added the tailblazer modulator. I couldn't be happier with the results. |
| Works great. Is bigger then I thought it would be. Is a must have if you park on a new asphalt parking lot on a hot sunny day. The kickstand will sink into the asphalt without something like this. I know from experience. |
| Just put the spoiler on. Easy do it yourself job even though the instructions advise against it. Bit scary putting 5 11mm holes in the trunk. Added the clear run brake turn light as well. I recommened this upgrade. |
| Awsome device. Had it installed in Tulsa WD '09 and the ride home was noticibly improved over the going to ride. Got the black with black fork guards. Excellen contrast against the CBC bike withlack bra. |

I had one of these and rode it all the time for three years,logging approxately 25,000 miles, but unfortunately, mine developed a hole in the seam where the top and bottom are welded together. I tried everything I could get my hands on to repair the small hole in the seam, but I just couldn't make it stick. While it was intact, this offers the best long ride seating comfort on the market - bar none. The only reason I listed it a "4" is because when you pay this kind of price for something, it should last longer than three seasons. I'll be buying another one before my next long trip. Gus |

Just got back from an 1100 Kilometer ride and just love this backrest! Install was not as easy as they make it out to be in the instructions as the foam in the seat is quite dense so requires some force to line up the holes,but worth every grunt #*^%$! |
| Functionally great, plating is bubbling and really bad looking. Swapping the hardware was painless,easy install. |
| The BEST and sooo easy. Only took 25 minutes to install including getting my tools, removing the seat and re-installing it after the backrest installation. The stress over cutting the seat slowed me down some but was for no reason, and this backrest is SO comfortable! I wish I had gotten it a long time ago. No trouble at all with the heated seat wiring either. |

| Well at first I was a little hesitant to buy them because of some of the horror stories, bought them any way, upon arrival glanced at the instructions first side throttle side took me 30 min clutch side 15 with a little common sense, and some of the other reviews they were a snap to install and they look and feel great! An easy 5 |
| This will work good on your goldwing I put it on in 5 min. Put some loctite on the screw so it will stay on. So far my wing has never fell over but if your on grass you should put a pad under it just to be sure. |
