I have had these grips on my VYX and now on my GW. I love the way they feel (parrticularly with the throttle boss)and look. The installation was a snap. The only two negative issues that I encountered were with the control levers. First the larger diameter of the split grips eliminates the use of the two closest (smaller hands) settings for the adjustable levers. Second the heat transfer is poor. As one of the other reviewers mentioned even at the MAX setting the grip heat is minimal.
Just replaced my old dented aluminum belly pan with this stainless steel vented version. Most people don't realize the plastic coolant tank on your Gold Wing is underneath your engine and unprotected. If you ride a GL1800 don't ride without a belly pan, it could save you thousands of dollars in repairs. Ride Safe! Ronnie
I have used it to charge, when I let the battery run down listing the radio while working on Bike and maintain the Goldwing battery in the winter. Go the the "Plus" model worth the extra money
Went on fairly easy, I did have to use a shim to pull plastic back from frame to allow the top of the frame covers to fit properly, after allowing a few minutes to set, remove shims
These look awsome on my Titanium Bike very classy looking.EAT YOUR HEART OUT HARLEY.Easy install did not install LED light mounts yet, They go on side covers and would need to be able to unplug to remove side covers. Have lights already installed on bike under covers.
Very nicely done these fit gr8 and do there job well. Now lets talk install easy 2 do but way over kill on the bolts and rubber bushings . so here is what i did went down 2 the hardware store and got the 5/16 same bushing and the screws 4 it then i went and got the chrome licenes plates screw covers and put them on 2 hide the not chrome screws looks sweet!!! hope this helps
Great kit. I wish I bought this originally! Installed quickly, works and sounds awesome. I hated playing music through the helmet because it was so tin-y... One thing I almost overlooked was the patch cable from the 8 pin J&M P series to the 5 on the wing...
Nice set of liners and better constructed then the GL1200 liners. Saddlebag liners stuff in nicely. The trunk liner was not that useful on the motorcycle, although is nice when taking a bag for the weekend. Well worht their cost.

Installation was a breeze. I replaced the stock height WS with this one. The vent swap was more trouble than the windshield itself. When done, I appreciated the extra 2" height. The hondaline products are already set up with the gradient and the proper tape coating so it will adjust without any problems. The F4 windshield replacement instructions were excellent and made the entire process very easy to follow. You can download the F4 instructions here: https://www.f4customs.com/media/Install_directions_pg4.pdf For the price, and with free shipping, this is an excellent replacement that is identical in quality to the stock unit. |
Older reviews say that the fit and finish on these lights are great, the set that I got are bent, three bulbs don't work and they would have to be reworked to fit my wing. These are low to no Quality parts that are sitting in the trash can.
Added these to accept the Kury amber floorboard lights - had to drill a hole to accept the wiring for the lights. These are chromed steel, good quality and shine, seemed better than the plastic ones. Used over a year now, still look great.
Great value, good height, some hanging over the backside of my rack though. The hook and loop attachments are REAL STRONG, I run without the added bungie cords now. Can't beat the price for value. Use it on my Kuryakyn rack purchased here.
