Look great, simple install, maybe 5 minutes each side.
Excellent product, took about 30 minutes to install. Really adds a touch of class to the side of the bike. Make sure that you give them a good polish when complete.
K&N LOVE it I have K&N on ALL my Vehicles Great Flow And performance another MUST have.
Like the leg wings for the standard two wheeler, these really cut down on the wind. We installed these on my friends Roadsmith trike and he reports a big decrease in wind, water and cold air when riding in wet and cool conditions. He stated that he likes them as does his passenger. They are well worth the investment.
Finally had a chance to put this on the other day and man what an addition to an other wise ugly area. Really sets off the chrome lower cowl cover. Now, I think I need a fender extension to keep it clean!
This is my second set of these. First set lasted 7 years and were starting to pit and peel so I decided to replace them for cosmetic improvement only. They still worked fine. New set had complete directions, were easy and quick to install, about 10 minutes total install time, and look beautiful. Girlfriend loves them and brags about them to everyone she can. Would help if the spring and such were included but it was a small detail compared to the other attributes. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
the instructions were lacking badly to say the least,,,,nobody should have to "trail and error" for the price we pay for this stuff. Two of the parts broke during installation and yes, I know how to install things but this was just a totally inferior product in my own opinion. I have used Kuruakyn parts for many years and have never had such a lack luster product. Will go back to the full front floorboards which I had on the bike for 6 years. So much for treying something new. Save your money and time, not worth either. :(
Really nicelooking grips. Great fit for a man with large hands.(Ring size 15) Look greta easy install, feel as good as the look.
Put three pints on the shelf for next time, as the factory brake fluid looks fine at 16k.
I couldn't justify anything other than the original equipment, and these OEM pads are quite beefy. Replaced the left front pads (originals at 16k were thin at the bottom, both pads) when I replaced the front tire - easy to do.
It's the dead of winter here and so I haven't had the oportunity to fire it up and ride. Will see about its function once spring arrives. Lots of "up close and personal" time with the bike in order to fit this but then again, that's not all bad either. What I have a question about is the filters fit. Seems it was about 1/16" too large front to back. Made for an impossible seat until you remove the OEM rubber seals as per instructions, and even then fitment was difficult at best. Had to very carefully fit this into the gap around the perimeter of the air box being careful not to press down enough to actually seat it. This would have caused bulging puckers which I was concerned would be an issue once the top was placed. Think I got everything together ok, may never know. Has anyone else found this to be a just slightly off sized piece?
Works well in saddlebags for organize the small stuff. Highly recommended!
