well this item, is necessary for both bike & auto, small & convient to carry--& just in case of A problem on the road- so DO IT ! (SMILE).
I installed these and the hand wings at the same time. Keeps you warmer in the winter and you can increase air flow in the summer. The lowers can direct the radiator heat onto or away from the rider. My wife loves them. Great product.
Installed these and the lowers at the same time. Keeps cold air off in winter and provides additional air flow in summer. Wife loves them. Every Wing should have these.
I installed the hitch on my 2005 Wing in 2 hours, more or less, along with a trailer wiring kit. Installation was very straightforward and uncomplicated - good, strong hitch. I did not have any problems with the passenger floorboards or the saddle bag clearance.

The SVR ships with a good charge, and fits comfortably into the OEM Yusa battery slot. The SVR positive and negative poles do not line up exactly with the provided Wing cables and screws unless you really apply some pressure to line them up. Take your time, otherwise you might knurl the threads. The SVR + and - poles have two screw bolt attachment areas allowing me to separate the OEM cables for the Wing and the accessories. I will not need a separate fuse panel. |

Wow...After about 2 hours to install on my 2008, this is definitely worth the cost. The Wing hops up on the center stand using reverse and with ease. You can even manually use the center stand and the effort to lift the bike is 90% less than the OEM center stand. To dismount off of the Ride-Off, simply engage 1st gear and drive off. No longer does one have to grunt and grown to lift the Wing onto the OEM stand. This Ride-Off was a great addition to my favorite accessories, why did I wait so long to get it. Issues: Removing the old OEM center stand is a chore that I had not planned. The OEM center stand is held in place with blue loctite on both a allen bolt and a 14mm regular hex bolt. The allen bolt did not fit the OEM allen key provided by Honda but I had one that fit it. Both bolts take 500 1/4 turns to remove it because of the tight clearance. The bolts need to be pried off with strong force and ample liquid penetrate. The spring can be easily removed by sticking nickel coins between the expanded coils to make re-installation a breeze. This should have been my 1st purchase. |
Simple ,quick install, seam to do the job, used Dawn for lube.....this chaffing should have been figured out by Honda a long time ago........
Agree,,, quick and easy install, but when I went to use it, it did not work. After further investigation, I found out that the wires in the male connector ( on the accessory) were in backwards, so I was getting a -ve 14.5 Vdc instead of the +ve 14.5Vdc which was necessary to run any device. It could have been disasterous if I had not checked and plugged in the accessory. It took an 1.5 hr instead of 1/2 hr to install. In my opinion, the quality control on this product is poor. Make sure you check that you are getting the right voltage out before plugging your accessories in.
I have all three on my 08 Wing. 34 oz up front for me, 34 oz back passenger for extra ice, 20 oz on arm rest for my wife. They keep ice for about 4 hours on a hot day and keep cool water up to 6 hours. A day in the 70's will last ALL day long.
GREAT LOOK HOPE MY ORDER COMES SOON
Armrests look great and are a nice addition for the passenger. Easy to install, but don't do as I did. I also purchased the the backrest and installed that first...whoops. Had to uninstall the backrest to install the armrests. Install the armrests first!!!
Had one of these on my 2000 wing. It worked great when my son and I (he was 11) traveled from Maine to Pikes Peak to Toronto and back to Maine. Let it go when I sold the wing but now I have a new wing and really missed "the big cup" on a ride I just completed from Florida to Maine....so I'm getting another one because the old one was so dependable.
