This is a great add on, along with Kuryakyn Iso slide over heated grips. I also installed rings on each end. This is a most for long hauls or even short trips, All together they do make a big difference. Numbness in hands are gone. |
| Installed yesterday. Hardest part was getting the two half's snapped together. Help from my son, made this part a lot easier. Installed the throttle boss and black rings. They all look great together. Tingle in hands gone and use of the throttle boss is more relaxing. Loose of heat is there, Will just buy warmer gloves for the cooler days or nights. |

I have used this for over two year now and I love it. Cleans everything on my bike. I use a soft cloth to clean with and then a fiber cloth to polish it with. It brings the shine. The Honda line is too streaky and oily. I have a can of it encase I run out of the good stuff. The plexus is over priced it may be the best I don't know. Just polish after cleaning with a fiber cloth you will love the results. |
| Great add-on item. I hard wired to the battey and ran the plug down and out of the vent hole in front of the battery, Easy to reach and hide from view. I now have to get a second one for my mower. |

I appreciated reading the reviews. It helped me in my own installation this past weekend. Before I started, I went to the local hardware store and bought bolts to replace the 1/4” flange bolts as was recommended. The ones shipped with the hitch don’t seem to be either SAE or metric. It also took me about two hours, but after the installation, I realized that I could have done it much quicker, since I gained insight during the installation. I did have to use a large pair of channel locks to get the upper clamps on, gently forcing them into place. It is a very tight fit, but there was enough flex in the saddle bags to allow the clamp to be forced onto the upper frame bar without loosening the saddle bags. It is also easier if you do not loosely bolt on the forward bracket as directed in Step 2. It is much easier to mount the subframe plate and then loosely bolt on the two trunion bars. Then you can adjust the Heim joint in the trunion bar and attach it to the forward bracket. I was then able to rotate the front bracket into place on top of the crash bar. You can then see where you need to trim the saddle bag. Remove the forward bracket and trim the saddle bag. Place the nut on the long bolt (through the Heim joint and front bracket and then place the forward bracket into position. Finish by tightening all of the bolts. I haven’t towed anything with it yet, but it seems really solid. My first use will be with the Rivco rack and bag. Good luck! |
| Really adds some class and gleam underneath behind the front wheel. Simple enough install, but don't forget to remove the two top clips from the old one and put them on the new one...saves some frustration. Nice look. |

| Bought this in 4/o/2010 haven,t had to use it on the road yet thank god but i did try it out on a tire that i had removed from my bike it appeared to work pretty good nice and compact fit in side bags real good. |

I just got back from my first trip with these grips, over 900 miles, and what a difference. My hands used to get cramped with the OEM grips but not with these. You do lose some heat with them but it's a small trade off. I also installed the Throttle Boss but barely used it because my hands didn't cramp up. Great item, a must for everybody. And they look great also. |
