Installed in a flip up (modular) helmet easily. So far the system works fine. Time will tell!
Really easy install. Just take your time. They look great.

Well the description is a little misleading. You CAN soak this necktie but it is cooled by putting the enclosed cold pack in the freezer, refrigerator or on ice. The phase change pack hardens and then slip into a pocket in the tie. Basically this is an ice pack for your neck. The tie is wide and flat, therefore touching more skin then the common soakable evaporative cooling tie. It is "non slime" because of this difference, the sealed coolpack never melts on your skin, it phase changes from a cold solid to a liquid as it adsorbs heat from your body. Why only 4 stars? The manufacturer claims "up to 8 hours of cooling". I found the cool packs melted and warmed in about 2 hours. So if you want all day cooling buy a few and "recharge" the other ones in an ice cooler or fridge. Still a good device, just not as good as the manufacturer boasts about. |
I am very pleased with this bag. It's well made and has alot of storage. I love how it has a handle so it can be carried like a suitcase. I just took it on a 2100 mile trip and it definitely came in handy.
This is a very nice hitch. I put it on my 1800 Goldwing in about four hours. I pull a tent trailer. This is a very good product for the money.
8.99 on sale??? I just bought this item locally - Price printed on package - $7.99. /aside from pricing, item works great for my Gold Wing.
Received them today and installed them myself. Instructions were included but as many have said, they are worthless. The leave it to you to figure out where the washers and lock washers go. Easily enough to do. And easy enough to figure out how to install them. I like all the adjustments on them. Have yet to ride it due to the rain, but anticipate once they are adjusted to my liking that they will be a worthwile addition to the bike!
I recently purchased this item and then went on a 1,600 mile trip. It worked great. Along with the luggage rack bag I bought to go on top of the trunk, I increased my storage capacity considerable. It works great, except now my wife thinks she can take 5 pairs of shoes instead of two.

Bought centramatic wheel balancers from wingstuff at wing ding 32 and had them installed for me at the show. My wife and I just arrived home today and I couldn't wait to write a review on how much smoother my bike felt on the long ride home. This product does everything they said it would, if I get more tire mileage even better, but the smoother ride alone was well worth the money. I'm so impressed with these that I recommend them to everyone riding a GL1800. They explained to me even if a tire is perfectly balanced, after a few thousand miles they are not anymore from wear changes on the tire. That makes perfect sense to me and these balance as you ride. It's nice to know no matter how much mileage I put on my tires they are always balanced as your wheel turns. I'm so glad I bought these, now I know why everyone is raving about them. A big thanks to all the fine folks at wingstuff for being at the show. Even though you were busy, your staff was always so helpful answering all our questions. Our group going home was talking about how wingstuff had the best display and prices in the entire show. Keep up the good work guys!! Ronnie |
It fits pretty tightly. Better option for travel than my full size cover. Will see how it stands up to inclement weather.
My results with this headset were similar to that of other reviewers. The installation was pretty straightforward. The intercom portion works great -- we just returned from a 11 hours trip in very windy conditions and the intercom worked great. However, when using the headset for the radio or MP3 player, the headset does not perform well. As others have said, with the external speakers at 10 or 11, I'd have to turn the volume up to 23-25 to hear through the headphones, and it sounded very tinny and distant. My wife said they sounded like listening to music through the headphones on an airplane. I mainly got this version because it had better mics than the cheaper J&M headset. Now I'm wondering if I should have saved my money and bought the cheaper headset. It you want it for the intercom, this is a good headset, but if you want to listen to music through it, I'm not so sure.
I wish I had known they were installing these at Wing Ding before I left. Anyway, found the ride to be smooth and stable. The handlebar oscillations were really bad after a new front tire install last fall. Had the balance checked when the Centramatics were installed, didn't find anything wrong with wheel balance. Rode to Des Moines and back with no problems. For some reason, when I load the bike and use the Tuff Linx case in back, the wobble all but disappears. Got to Des Moines and noted a great improvement in the wobble at low speed, better than when I left! Took the rider ed course doing slaloms and turns and all at low speeds without a problem. Did the wheel balancers contribute to the improvement? Perhaps, it's hard to say. Was the ride noticeably smoother? Maybe. Is it worth the cost? I'd say yes since anything that happens to throw off the wheel balance is automatically corrected. Need to see what happens as the tires wear more. Will update review after I've had them a few months.
