| I have a 08' Wing with 48,000 miles, just put my fourth set of tires on. Each set of the Dunlop 250's and the first set of Dunlop E3's lasted 16,000 miles. No complaint on the mileage but if we can get 30% plus more miles with the Dyna Beads it will be a cheap investment. Also I saved on not having the tires balanced. This time around I put the 70 series rear tire on. The Dyna Beads are working great with the first 1,000 miles on the tires, no shimmy at the low speeds and none at any speed so far. So you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a great ride. |
| These are the best sounding headsets I have used. Like any small speaker you must have them mounted close to your ears to get good sound. If you take any stereo headphones and lift them even a inch from your ears you will loose most bass and mid range sound.I have these installed so they push the cloth on my helmets ear pockets out so they just barley touch my ears and they sound better then the speakers on my 08 GL1800. More bass and just a better sound. They were also very easy to install in my HJC FS-3 3/4 helmet. We rode yesterday at 75mph into and sideways to a 20mph wind with no wind noise from the mic. |
| If I had bought this right away I would have saved a bunch of cash on repairs. Hit road debris thrown up by vehicle in front of me and could not avoid. Insurance claim, 1 1/2 weeks time wasted, and $500.00 deductible later, I was back on he road. Most damage would have been prevented by this belly pan. Cheapest insurance you can buy. I bought the vented type. |
| If I had answered this posting BEFORE we went on a 10000+ mile trip I would have given it 5 stars! However, this bag literally started falling apart before we were 2500 miles from home. We had taken the bag and rack system on 2 other short trips and it performed beautifully. Have any of you driven in the rain, or where mud would splash up on the bottom of the bag? Let me tell you first off even with the cover, IT LEAKS! Secondly, the zipper started falling apart on the left side as you look down at the bag and the cover is coming apart too. We are very careful with our gear, nearly 10 years later we still have the Gold Wing Bags we purchased with the bike and use them on EVERY trip. They have been more than 80K miles. This bag was not handled inappropriately in any way. It just proved to be a piece of junk on a long trip! I wish they made a hard case (like a pelican case) that attaches to the rack or a sealable plastic case for the bag so when rain, mud, tiny gravel, etc blow up on the bottom, your contents inside stay dry and the bag would stay clean. It's a mess taking it off the bike and uncovering it every day, when it is wet and muddy. Maybe we are just the only ones who have taken it on such a long ride. |
| Fitting was a breeze after taking time to get first side right! I'm 6'4 and they feel solid and comfy on the highway, clearance is not an issue, a must have on your 1800! |
| How good are these! easy fit with a little dish washing liquid...great buy! very comfortable for big hands! |
| Look great, especially at night. Fit/fair could be better. Misfairs not really that noticable unless you're a former auto body guy (like me) or specifically looking for it. A little filing of molding flash on installation. Overall, happy with the product. Really happy having having my Wing's derriere lit up like a Christmas tree. |

| These look great and work as advertised...4 stars only because the left side ratcheting is looser than the right which may cause issues down the road with continued use. I'll contact National Cycle and see what they tell me. |
| Very good set of grips and even if you have small hands it will make the difference. I had the slide over grip to make my last trip and it helped but these seem be even more comfortable. The only draw back is they are a pain to put on, ended up using a couple of hand clamps to get the tabs to come together. |
| Ooops! I should have updated with my experience/opinion regarding Avon's Cobra tires. I posted an original review dated 9/1/2009. As mentioned, I yet noticed wobble at 15-20mph. Went back and had dealer change rear tire. Boy, what a difference. I now have 11,000 miles on these tires and yet feel good about them. I just came off a 2,400 mile trip through the mountains including the "Tail" in N.C. where my max speed on the Tail was 59.5mph, avg 33.5mph. What can I say, the tires grip when its important, and they are smooth on the highway. When these wear out, I'll buy another set! |
| This product is a piece of crap. It is the usual Kuryakyn bull...nice chrome and material, but piss poor engineering. It will not stay firmly attached to the kick stand without some sort of set screw or other attachment to make it sturdy. Also, the way the tip sticks out, you could cut your ankle if the stand is up and the bike is moving while your feet are down. Don't buy this crud! Look for a better engineered product. |
