Very inexpensive piece that's easy to install. Just pretty time consuming pulling all the parts off the bike to run the wires. Requires the inner trunk liner, the seat, and the rear panel to be removed. The package states for 01-05 but works on 2010 also.
Extremely easy to install. Very straight forward and pretty self explanatory. About an hour start to finish. Looks great and adds more visibility to the bike.
Sorry, wanted to say "you can see it" in the second line.

I have an Ultimate seat on my bike. You can it in my profile pictures. I love the seat and I think the style adds a ton to the look of my bike. I only rated it 3 stars because: 1. The company does not return calls. I called them with a question and the lady said she would have the owner call me back. He didn't. 2. I would like for my passenger armrests to match my seat. I called and emailed the Florida shop to find out that they will not recover new armrest that I might buy and they will not make a matching cover for any brand I might purchase so I can put them on the armrests. I am Unhappy about this. Don't you want your passenger armrests to match your seat? Great Seat, comfortable ride sorry customer service. |
A little over priced for a sheet of pressed out stainless, but compared to the alternative of a busted coolant bottle or worst. Its piece of mind. No issues with temperature changes. Factory could have designed that area a little better.
Had no issues installing the backrest. Once adjusted to my shape, it feels very good and suports well. Its a must have addition for the serious tourer.
good product, works as intended..wasn't to much of a hassel to install..

This is one of the best looking racks on the market. The reason I have given it a low rating ( if I could give a 0 rating I would) is because of Kuryakyn not standing behind their products. Customer service at Kuryakyn sucks. I keep my bike very clean and polished but after 13 or 14 months the chrome started to bubble on the rack and Kuryakyn would not do anything as it was over the one year warranty. Now also keep in mind in the midwest we only ride 8 to 9 months of the year. If the company will not stand behind their product, than I will not use Kuryakyn products. I also know of others that have had the same problem with Kuryakyn chrome. Read the message boards on GWRRA and goldwingdocks.com to see reviews from others including myself. WingStuff gets a 5 star rating as they backed Kuryakyn better than Kuryakyn did. |
Perfect!!!!!!! I have a 36" inseam and I made the mistake of ordering the ergoII kit with the 6" arms. I Could never safely get them adjusted to where they fit me. I Put these on and now I can cruise comfortably and safely. I dont even have the problem with them draggin like the 6" arms did. If you have over a 30" inseam don't bother with the other arms just order these arms with in the Ergo II kit and you wont be sorry.
Outstanding product with all steel shafts.
PUT THESE ON FRONT AND REAR MADE A BIG DIFFERENTS
Outstanding product. I've installed this in 2005 after my damper reached 25. Having the extra load factor has really paid off. 5 years later, I'm at 2 one up, 4 two up and 6 two up and a trailer. Installation must be done by those with knowledge & tools to do the job. Regardless of what you hear, the gas tank must come out.
