I replaced these pads on my wing, and 10,00 miles later the rear pads were almost down to the metal...the front ones still looked good...I then installed the factory honda pads and noticed that the rear pads were double the thickness of the front pads....I guess thats why honda did this as apparently the rear wears out quicker than the front...From now on ill use oem honda pads from now on
A must just snap and go. Major time saver.
Easy to install. Looks good. 4 stars because they could be brighter.
I have trunk and saddlebag lights. Easy to install and they look great.
Looks great. Simple to install.
A no brainer to install. Just use a couple of spring clamps to hold and secure the ends to the fender til the glue sets. Easy, inexpensive dress up..Nice touch..
I've only been a Gold Winger since October, so this is one of my first "Must Have" buys. Install is a "Piece of Cake". Just read the instructions well and measure care-fully. They Function as advertised or better. Great product!!
Have had one for over 5 years , great aid for long rides
low cost and works as advertised. Low budget install and can move. It needs to be cold to use these as your legs will get very warm above 60 degrees.
Excellent product and durable. Allows many adjustment over a wide range of tempuratures.
For the J&M CB I installed on the wife's new VTX (see profile pic). No problems with it failing but only used it on a day ride (about 350miles). Is hard to plug in at both ends, especially for the wife, which sounds like a common problem from other reviews. But I guess it's less likely to come undone when properly seated.
Installed this on the wife's new VTX (see profile pic). 4 stars cause by the time you put it on the rear license plate mount, the ground wire provided is likely not going to reach any groundable surface (i.e. it's too short). The angle of the antenna from that point puts it about a foot behind the trailing edge of the rear fender. I'm going to re-locate it. It does work however. I grounded it to a muffler mount under the saddle bag. We did a 350 mile trip with friends last week and she heard and communicated with the rest of us (all on wings) fine with the J&M system.
