

| Put this on my black '08 GL1800 2 years ago. Couldn't imagine what the nose would look like without it. Easy to install and clean. It is very tight on the install of the sides but thats what makes good on the nose. |
| After a 2 years of allowing me to add almost all of the accessories myself, this manual has paid for itself and then some. Used it to install a CB myself, a project that alone paid for the manual if you look at the cost of CB installation. |
| Worth every penny. Very scary cutting into the seat, especially when you aren't very mechanically inclined and not wanting to cut the heating wires. Tricky getting the holes lined up. Comfort makes up for the installation process and there is a video out there on the internet so you can watch a professional do it. I've had it over a year now and can't imagine riding without it. |
| I've had mine on for over a year now and they have held up very well. I found the shifter to be very easy to get used to. Installation was easy and appearance is great. I wear a 10.5 boot and my foot barely rests in between the shifters. Any larger and I doubt you would be able to get your foot to rest in the middle. |

| Very useful. Have had them on since I got my wing back in 2009 and have enjoyed having the alternate leg position. At 5'10", they don't stick out far enough for my calves to be completely free of touching the edge of the fairing. Still, a must have for long rides. |
| Installed just like the instructions stated. Just take your time. Measure twice,cut once. This should be a back saver on a long road trip.Looks good,feels nicer. |
| I used only 2 of the bumpers on back of the trunk. I found that if you cut 1 slice off the edge of the lip w/ a razor blade off the side of the bumper and dip the end in dish soap, you can easily twist the bumper in to the hole by hand w/o the use of pliers and it's a hell of a lot easier to get them inserted into the holes. I broke 2 doing it the way the instructions said to do it. The trunk closes tight right now but should break in nicely after a week or two. No rattles and no more chafing the paint. |
| I just finished the 4 corner tour with a new set of bridgestones on my wing. I have a little over 11,000 miles on the set and they still have some life left. The front actually loods very good and a rear is a little square but had a lot of high speed interstate on the trip. They are head and shoulders over the Dunlops. No cupping or whine with the front tire and the rear isn't down to the wear bars yet. Very pleased. I run 46 in rear and 31 in front. |
| Agree w/ RF Tech, just tried to install right side. The brackets will not sit flush against BOTH the back & side walls (????) and if you opt for forcing a flush fit to the side wall, it's cantilevered for the back. In addition, had to stop since the 3x4 hex bolt w/ those confounded Nylex acorn nuts sheared in two- Home Depot trip ;-). I like the style, but give 3 stars for the craftsmanship of install hdw. |

I have had this set of ME880's for 12,000 miles. Still lots of meat on the tires, but front tire is cupped bad now. Im not complaining about the lifespan, just making note that within the last 300 miles, they went from good to bad...really fast. Im getting another set. Fantastic wet riding, no front end wobble (Cant say that for some other tires (DE3's) ive had. Good tire for the money. Des 2005 GL1800 |
| I've had these bags for close to a year and over 10,000 miles,they have held up great with no sign of wear and hold plenty of stuff.Now if I only had room for my things!! |
