Although, it looks really good, it does not fit well when using boots, very little space and causes delays in shifting. The unit also fails to stay in the same position, the set screws do not work.
I had this installed on my 2010 Goldwing Trike when I purchased it. I had one on my VTX 1300 Trike and really loved it. Have taken, trips to Washington for Rolling Thunder and several mountain trips, each well over 1000 miles and no back fatigue at all. My wife really likes the fact that it folds down for her to get on and off the bike. Well worth the price. Would recommend for anyone riding on trips of significant length.
Great seat. Hi quality and workmanship. I've had it for about a year now. However, I can't ride on it all day and should've gone with the King seat. After a few hours the front of the seat creates pain at the top of my inseam on both legs. I'm 5'10 and 200lbs. Ultimate Seat won't provide any type of prorated exchange of the seat so I have to put it on eBay in order to sell it and get a King. Make sure that you go on a long ride within the 15 days in order to take advantage of any exchange or return. Ultimate Seats won't work with you at all after that.
Installed in less than 3 hrs. The downloaded instructions were very helpful on my 2005 Goldwing I didn't have loosen the mufflers as the instructions said. Had to pry on the saddle bag brackets slightly forward and out. All and all not to bad of an install.
Finally something that pleases the co-rider as much as the pilot. This is a great product. Does not interfere with then driver and is an added comfort for the long ride. She LOVES these things after 5000 miles...
I purchased this when you could get factory matched paint. As for the lack of viewing range, I took a brad (nail and put it between the front of the side view mirror and the place whee the blind spot attaches. This way the blind spot has a little more of an angle when installed. My blind spot mirror allows me to see the car next to me until it is half past me. Sorry they still don't match the paint.
I have both the drivers and passengers cup holders. The drivers workout great, I love it on theses 100+ degrees day riding yo work. The reason for the 4 stars is that the wife cup holder rides a little close to the saddle bag, it don't touch, but i think i well put a stich in it just to be sure.
I had the armrest on for about 2 months, no problems. My wife hasn't rode much with them yet, but so far she like them. Going on a 900 mile ride in Sept. that well tell the full story

This does not fit the F4 +4 Windshield on the 2006 Goldwing. I had to go to the F4 website to order the proper vent. I still Like Wingstuff, thats why they still got 5 Stars. |
Have to agree with Ed, they are a great item and as for them being black only, I had some paint left over from when I built my trailer and they'r now "metalic Phantom Grey" the same as bike (easy as)
I get a lot of comments on my bike about how nice it looks, especially since adding these two years ago. People cannot articulate what sets the bike off from others, but this product really dresses it up without looking gaudy. A great replacement for the dull OEM guards.
As mentioned, it takes about 45 minutes to install. Well worth the time and addition. I have had mine for about 15K and am surprised it has not chipped and dinged more. I recommend the chrome fender extension both to complete the look and help protect this product.
