Installed on 2012 ABS GL1800. I'm adding this info for those that have a 2012 and were wondering what will fit. I will review 27 items that I installed on my 2012. I have had this rack on my two previous gl1800s. I gave 4 stars just for the look. The instructions are very poor and I had to tap out each bolt hole due to chrome seeping into holes and messing up threads (typical for Kuryakyn chrome). At least the bolts were long enough (installed risers). Many times, Kuryakyn bolts are not long enough and it's hard to find the correct metric bolts to make accessories work. |

Installed on 2012 ABS GL1800. I'm adding this info for those that have a 2012 and were wondering what will fit. I will review 27 items that I installed on my 2012. I prefer these pegs but I wish we could pick the length arm we need. 6" arms will work for very few folks. As with all Kuryakyn chrome, there was chrome inside one of the mounting wells that had to be reemed out before installing the peg to arm. |
| Based on reviews I decided this was a must-have, so I had it installed by Wingstuff before I picked up my new (to me) bike from them. It's a protective, preventative device that I'm confident was an excellent, as well as inexpensive, investment. |

I had these installed by Wingstuff & purchased the Kury ones at their recommendation. They are very good quality & I'm confident my honey will love them when I'm comfortable enough with my new bike to put her on it. I like the cup holder, as it folds up and slides underneath the right armrest. You do have to pull them out to open the trunk, but I knew this going in and elected not to purchase the other ones that fold up instead of out. |
| I replace a Tulsa for this windshield and what a difference. Clearity; wind blockage for my wife and myself. Wonderful fit with no problems in the replacement. Would recomend this to all. |
| UPDATE: Just got back from an extended long haul tour and put the Ultragard to the test. It did really well providing me with lots of pockets to store smaller items and the larger compartment was great for larger items that I needed quick and/or easy multiple access to. The Ultragard did well in light or sporadic rain, however during one 7 hour day in heavy rain, the bag was pretty much soaked through even with the the rain cover on. |
| Great looking product. I added these and the shark gill at the same time and immediately got comments about them. They add just the right amount of chrome And is a simple install. As with all of the adhesive-backed products, do a test fit before removing the backing so you know where it goes, then take your time. |
| Great looking product. Easy install. Immediately got comments on it. Very nice product. |
| OK, 4 STARS FOR THIS ITEM, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE METAL HOOKS, OTHERWISE A GREAT PRODUCT,THE WINGSTUFF LOGO IS DIFFERENT & GRABS ATTENTION, GOOD PADDING AS WELL FOR THE WIND SHEILD & ANTENNAS- SO GO GET SOME, IT WON'T HURT- SUMMERTIME MAN ! |
| Great look, great price however poor product description as far as leg extention arms. Had to spend more money to get the mini arms. The product should give you average height recommendations so you don't have to buy the correct lenth this was anther $50 cost to get the correct size arm. At 5'10" the six inch arm has your knees up in the air. |
| This is a no brainer! Worth every penny making the loading of your road music a snap. |
| We have had this installed for 2 years now and it is AWESOME. Protecting the under belly of the bike while stabilizing wind buffeting on the highway. |
