| No question that these bearings eliminate the GA1800 wabble. No question. I had the installation done at my Honda Dealer in Georgia; be aware, that the bearings will need to be re-tourqed once they become seated properly. I was on the road when I learned this lesson, so it cost me an additional $119. However, there is an awesome BBQ restaurant right next door to the San Antonio, Tx Suzuki Dealer where I had the work done. Great service from both, it turned into an event. |

I bought both the saddlebag and truck sets. I am a novice at installing anything, but gained some confidence installing the F4 windshield. Be sure on these to read the instructions thoroughly, watch the video a couple times and read posts about installation both here and on other forums (unless you are experienced at installation/modification). For a beginner, I would call this install easy for the trunk and moderate for the saddlebags. The instructions, both video & written) could be more clear and more detailed. For example, on the trunk set, the instructions say "remove the rear fender per the shop manual". And the video just shows it on, then off. I don't have a shop manual yet. I took out the four obvious hex screws as well as the license plate bracket & the piece still would not come off. So I Googled it and came up with an answer from justanswer.com/motorcycle that read to use a screwdriver (with a cloth over it) and carefully pry the piece off. That worked very well & I was back on my way. The saddlebag lights involve drilling holes & splicing wires, so they were more time-consuming & involved. If there was a wing shop nearby I probably would have paid $75.-$80. to have the saddlebag lights installed. But I managed to do it myself & everything works fine. These pieces are chromed plastic, so be very careful screwing in the screws. I followed the advice of one user who pre-inserted the screws into the plastic before installing. None of mine cracked, but take it slow & easy. I took my time on the install. The trunk involved "dropping" the bottom plastic piece of the trunk, which wasn't difficult, but I just took it off. While I had the two pieces off (trunk lower painted piece & rear fender), I cleaned them, polished them & put 3 coats of good-quality wax on them prior to re-installing. These lights really light up the bike at night. They look VERY nice. I bought them mainly as a safety feature, but they are also very attractive. I'm only about a 45 minute drive from Wingstuff, so the order arrived within 2 days. Now I have even more confidence to tackle more installations on my own, and saving about $300. in labor charges, so far. The total installation took me about 3-4 hours, but I went real slow & I have the time. It was FUN! |
| I certainly had more difficulty than most installing this belly pan… had to remove the cowl and remove the front mounting nut to get enough play in the side covers to install the pan on the four acorn nuts… the reason being that the holes in the belly pan are closed, unlike other belly pans which are open and allow you to slide them on the acorn bolts. It could be I just didn’t know what I was doing, but I’m telling you, there was no play in the side covers until I remove the front mounting connection. So, I give it a 2-star rating for installation but a 5-star rating for the overall product. |
| great product i got caught up listing to my club members so took my honda shield off an put a tulsa shield on the x-tall one im only 5;4 when it rains it fogs up bad i cant get no air its good for blocking out air im putting my honda line back on b-bob you can have that tulsa |

| This is a BS product. If you're a rider that rides at 60 mph or below, you will be okay with this product. I enjoy cruising at 75-80 mph, and it doesn't work. During a recent trip from Tampa to Charlotte, I was forced to stop and have them removed from the front wheel in South Carolina due to a very annoying intermittent vibration in the handle bars. The vibration ceased in the bars, but I could feel it in the seat. After arriving in Nashville, the vibration had become so noticable that it was ratteling my mirrors. The unbalanced rear tire with the Centramatic installed had ruined the tire and had to be replaced. After both tires had been balanced, we continued on to Chicago and back to Florida without the slightest vibration. This product is trash!!!! |
| Very nice looking when the boards are up. Good price. Easy as pie install. I bundled these with some other side bling. If I had it to do over, I might pass on these. I do a fair bit of two-up riding, so the boards hide the look. Taking nothing away from the rating though, these are nice. |
| These do a good job of hiding the gray below the battery side covers. I had to wallow the left side holes because the were stamped too far apart. Once installed, you can't tell anything is wrong. Four stars for less than perfect fit. |
| I debated a long time on whether or not to chrome the side of the Wing. Out of the four pieces I chose, these are by far the best looking of the bunch. This spot just looks like it should be chromed. If you only have the money for one piece of bling, this is the one to get. Very easy install. |
| I like the closer feel you get from these. I'm 5'10",and bought the wide version. I ended up installing right riser on the left, left riser on the right. It felt like the bars were angled in when I put them where they really go. Flopping side-to-side took most of that out. A word of caution; if you think you might do this, don't trim the factory plastic mounting bolt cover until you decide which way you want to leave the bars. It doesn't line up when you cut the plastic one way, and mount the risers the other way. Install took about an hour. |
