Special Edition Quantum Windshield w/Rain Zip Coating
ITEM CODE: TR552153,   SKU: TR552153

Well, I ordered my first one and all went well for a while until I git three cracks developing on one side of the vent and three on the other side of the vent and one in the middle all growing everyday in length. I finally had to drill stop hole at the end of every crack. Call Wingstuff and they replaced it. Put the new one on and as of today 9-30-2012 I now have three cracks from one corner of the vent and one from the other migrating down. I have to go drill stop holes right now so I can use the bike this week and go to work. I have a e-mail and pictures on the way to Wingstuff right now. I hope they replace this one because I have a 300 mile ride schedule for Friday and I'm the lead guy. The last thing I want is this windshield to come apart in my face going down the road. I'm almost willing to go back to stock if I could find a stock height windshield with no vent or have the factory send me one of these with no vent hole. I never use the things anayway. Can that be done

Special Edition Quantum Windshield w/Rain Zip Coating
ITEM CODE: TR552153,   SKU: TR552153

I'm as happy as a clam with this windshield. It does everything they claim. Much stiffer, no buffeting, less wind on myself and the passanger and not much distortion when I'm looking through the shield. Honda should have been the ones to reseach this further. maybe on their 2014 Goldwing they'll get it right. I would recommend this change to all goldwings. Oh I forgot to mention this. It makes for a much more stable platform for anyone who is mounting their GoPro on the side of the windshield such as I do.

Well the new windshield works just fine for me I just have to sit up more straight now so I can see over the shield instead of through it. I guess this is all good, we'll find out on my first long ride. I definately do not like looking through the windshield. I'll write more later.

Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CTMGW100-102,   SKU: CTMGW100-102

10.28.2011
Well I've owned my 2010 GL1800 for 13 or so months now and I've put on 12,800 miles weekends only and wore out the stock Dunlop tires whereby I have put two new Dunlop Elite III on the day before yesterday. When I had the tire put onto the rims at the dealership I asked them to NOT balance either the front or the rears. I then took it out on its first run hoping these Centramatics worked as I was told they would. They work absolutely perfectly and the bike is as smooth as it can get. These are well worth the price and I now know as I begin to wear these tires in and rubber is removed from varous areas of the front and back tire my tires will always be perfectly in balance making for a smooth ride until the next pair go on about a years from now. I would suggest this product to all Goldwings and if they work for the other bikes as well as they did for me I'd adbise them to buy them now. I only wish I has a set to try on my 2012 Honda Civic EX commute vehicle. Wink Wink !!

Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CTMGW100-102,   SKU: CTMGW100-102

Well, the centramatics work better than I ever dreamed. Where I use to have vibration on the back wheel on the center stand at 60-80 MPH I now have almost zero vibration. Can’t imagine how smooth this is going to be when I hit the road today. I would suggest these to nayone and would hope Honda put them on as stock hardware from the factory.
