bought it summer 2011, lost on I-55 north of jackson ,Ms on a trip from the gulf coast about 85 mph, great look love the way it illuminate. just reorder 022/09/12.extra adhesive tape needed for extreme high temps above 98 and index at 105, causes adhesive to give and winds at hwy speeds to give. I hate to buy the same product twice.
YEP I'M GIVING THIS ONE A 5-SO WHAT CAN BEAT CHROME STEEL FOR A VALVE STEM ON A BIKE/TRIKE OR CAR ??? NO FLEXING IS NEEDED- BECAUSE IT DOES CAUSE PROBLEMS- IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN- GREAT PRODUCT- SO GO GET SOME- YOU WANT BE SAD LOL.FOR YOUR RIMS ???
I had to replace a tire due to road damage, this tire had the Dyna beads in it and they did keep the tire in balance as stated. The only thing that I did see when the tire had been removed was that the wheel or rim which ever you prefer to call it had some etching marks plus a little showing on the valve stem. This caused me to think of what might happen with continue use over a long period of time. I’m trying a different type of beads in the new tire but I’m still running the Dyna beads in the other tire so I can get some comparison between the two. As of now both tire are in balance and the only different is the beads in the older tire fall to the bottom after stopping for any length of time.
It starts the wing really fast for that it is a 5 but installing it is a 3 they can and need to make it the same as the original one fits all is a bad idea
One of the glue tubes I received was dried out so I had to use some of my own but otherwise install was a breeze.
I think the rubber nipples make it a bit tighter then it needs to be. They are also a bit stiffer then I would like. I installed this in the forward bolt instead of the rear to be used as a drivers cup holder and it really works well.
I had no truoble following the directions and putting this on. Been using it for a couple weeks and it is great. Very happy I got it.
I installed a set of these a week ago and went on a ride a couple days later that started out at 26 degrees and a high of 40 degrees. These made a huge difference in keeping the wind off of my hands especially and letting my electric gloves work better. Took an hour to install but probably could have done them in 1/2 hr if I had really tried.
Ok, so there's one thing that I'm not entirely sure about with these and that's the fact that they replace the screw that goes into the bottom of the mirror itself, but given the configuration, thats really the best way to bolt them on short of drilling holes. The instructions say to add loctite though which I did, so it shouldn't be a problem. The difference between having these and not having them when it's 20 degrees F out is night and day. My finger tips no longer get the blast of wind even through my gloves. They are great.I would recommend them to everyone. The position "ratchet" system is the basic plastic gear type on plastic gear type that holds it in place, and it works nicely to hold them in place even up to about 90 mph (that i've tested). over all, A+
These are easy to install and really look good
As others have said this needs the 35mm screws to fit it properly. as the 30mm screws are just to short. Once on it looks good
This was easy to install good for charging up your iPod and phones
